This drop cloth is a good size & weight - it is sturdy but light enough for one person to easily position. I ordered it to use on the patio under wood furniture I was oiling. I was going to set the chairs on large garbage bags, but they were too slippery to safely walk on. This cloth felt secure underfoot. Most importantly my drips did not soak through. I also used it in the bottom of my trunk when hauling a few bags of notoriously dusty river rocks. Cleanup was a breeze. This would also be great fabric for sewing tote bags or painting floor cloths.

High quality, very easy to use as a drop cloth for paining interior or exterior. Drips or spatters do not penetrate the canvas. Roll up to store for next painting project then quickly unroll where you will be painting. This canvas is odorless, has a clean appearance and is stable as you walk on it to paint.

Excellent tarp. I'm using this to place on my new bathroom tile floor when I style my hair. I got tired of cleaning up hair product spray droplets that tend to stick and be difficult to simply mop; I'd have to scrub on my hands and knees - no thanks. This tarp is a great solution. It's lightweight and easy to fold, small enough to keep in a drawer in the bathroom. Even though it's lightweight, it would still be good for covering items if you want to use it to paint. The material is thick enough for good protection. Definitely recommend!

If you are considering drop cloth as an economical alternative to home fabrics, I most strongly recommend this product. Are you tired of companies claiming to sell 100% cotton canvas, getting it home, only to spend HOURS processing it into the perfect snowy cream fabric only to find its supposed cotton pureness to be sullied with synthetic materials? Well look no further! If this is your goal DO NOT consider purchasing anything else. This is the real deal! Wonderful quality, true measurement, thick weave, and most importantly (to us die hard canvas processing curators) it does what it is supposed to do... become a soft draping cloud of canvas for you home arts. But let the images speak for themselves. Have an ugly couch but the IRS has taken so much of your paycheck that you can barely afford to even look at a new one? Voila! Problem solved. Hideous armchair even the Peanuts character "Pigpin" doesn't want to sit in? Transformed! If you like the natural linen beige unprocessed look you're in for a treat as well! Just hot water wash the fabric sizing agents off and still get fantastic results (third image after simple hot water Tide/Oxiclean washing). So STOP WASTING TIME being disappointed by other canvas con artists and buy this product! Thank you for your time! 😁👍

It’s a drop cloth. It’s not fancy, it’s not exciting, but it does what it’s supposed to, and that’s all I really need from it. The canvas is thick enough to feel durable without being so heavy that it’s a pain to move around. Whether you’re painting, doing some messy DIY project, or just trying to keep the floor clean, this thing holds up. It doesn’t feel like it’s going to tear or let paint seep through, which, let’s be real, is all anyone cares about with these. Size-wise, it’s generous. You’ve got enough material to cover a decent workspace, so you’re not constantly adjusting it every five minutes. The edges are stitched well, which keeps it from fraying and turning into a sad rag after a couple of uses. But let’s not overthink it, it’s a drop cloth. It’s there to take the abuse so your floors or furniture don’t have to. And Salt Earth delivers a solid one. It’s reusable, easy to clean, and does exactly what you need it to without any surprises.

Good choice for a table cloth. This rustic look is functional in a kitchen setting. The fabric is durable, but does show staining with normal use. A quick wash once every week is sufficient to keep it clean. I plan on using this type of drop cloth as a window cover for a patio sliding glass door. An inexpensive option for those handy with sewing tasks. Do use a thick sail cloth type needle when you sew this fabric as it is a challenge to work with.

Great product. I used the canvas for drapes. No seams, no odor and no flaws. I washed it in cold water and dried on permanent press. It is sized at 9' x 12', but after washing it was actually 9' x 10.5." It's 100% cotton, so shrinkage will definitely occur. I will buy again.
