Bought these and only had a day to break them in before going on a 2 week trip to Iceland. I was doing a lot of hikes: beaches, cliffs, waterfalls, heaths, ice, wet rocks. These shoes are really all terrain, and I have been seriously impressed. It took about 3-5 days to really break in. Specifically the part where the shoe creases on the top of the foot was a bit hard and pinching but has since softened up and I do not feel the pinching anymore. These bad boys are secure, lightweight, comfortable and definitely waterproof. I even trudged through 3-4inches of mud with these and felt nothing. Very confident wearing these anywhere!

It's pretty new to me/ I only have about 80 miles on this boot so far. It's light enough. It's gore tex lined so it's both water proof and a little less cool/breathable than I like. I do like the arch support The ankle support is good for me.The toe box is just big enough. I don't like the insole that came with it, but my instep is high enough that a a thicker cushion wont fit with my foot .. My only real complaint is the laces are slippery enough that it is difficult to tie I will amend this after 250 miles or so..

I'm worn these boots most days in the seven months since I purchased them. I've also used them to hike around 20 miles of the Appalachian trail, as well as a handful of smaller day hikes. I was very disappointed by wear that resulted from about half a year of regular use. The worst of it is where the shoes is coming apart from the sole. Not only is It not longer waterproof, but it's the kind of problem that just gets worse. I'm also disappointed that the tread on the sole is wearing down so quickly. On the positive side, these boots feel great when wearing them. They are great at gripping sloped terrain.

I love these boots. I only received them one week before heading on a trip to Africa to hike Mount Kilimanjaro. So there wasn’t much time to break them in but from day one they were so comfortable and my group and I reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, and down in seven days. The comfort level sustained the entire trip no blisters no discomfort. The boots remained dry walking through puddles and streams. The only time a little water got through the top was during hours of rain and even that was minimal. I’m very satisfied with these boots.
