I gave this a 5 star due to how inexpensive this product is for the quality material I got. The stitching is good. I’m not having any problems with any seams irritating my skin (I have sensitive skin), like poking or rubbing. The inside material is very soft as advertised. I wear a size 7 1/4 fitted cap, so not the biggest head. The fit of this mask was perfect for me. My concern initially was the bagginess on my head, thus letting wind or snow inside the mask. I recently went for a mini run in -10 F weather 10-15 wind gusts, surprisingly it was warm. Even though I do winter sports I still don’t like the cold lol, the mask did it’s job. Add a skullcap or hoodie, you’re definitely good. If you’re in minus degree temps and it’s windy outside, be sure when you put it on to cover your mouth(and/or nose) with the first layer of the mask and then place the second ventilated layer over it. If you don’t, your nose and mouth areas will be cold and may cause ice to form. The neck covering has a good length. On me it covers down to the top of the sternum. No problems there. Ventilation is good as well. I don’t feel like I’m suffocating etc. I personally think its not worth buying a mask thats $20 and higher. Unless it was water proof, bullet proof, indestructible etc... you get my point. Some go for super expensive brands because it makes them feel better or confident that it’s absolutely going to meet their needs. There are exceptions and this is one of them. If you want something inexpensive, has great head/ face coverage, good warmth, quality made, not baggy, good fit. This is for you. It's a OK face mask this is my third and has the worst ventilation out of the 3 I've bought it's just to heavy over the face and when it's over the face normal breathing will make the nose mouth portion wet after about 20 minutes... it's a nice mask but only if your walking to and from the house, or in and out a Car. Its NOT meant to be used for anything other than 30 minutes outside cause of the ventilation it provides, causes way to much moisture. next time I'll buy a different one.... I'm someone that swears by these type of masks. Just not "this brand". I LOVE AMAZON! BUT Being fair and honest JUST not this mask ... show more

So I have to work in a freezer as a forklift driver and it’s cooooooold. So the full head covering is great. I also wear glasses, so the head covering does not press my ears down for soreness. Another great perk is it has a face mask built in, so if u need to u can cover the nose, but it is breathable mask. If you want this for skiing , this is not the covering for you. I like the fleece lining and the moveable piece that further covers the mouth and face. As far as my experience with gaiters and balaclavas/masks of this type go, this has to be one of my favorites. It's a lil pricier for one mask, but I'm willing to say that it fits the materials used and how it works,so that's a decent tradeoff. Now, I got the perfect addition to my full face coverings for the winter as well as the colder ends of spring and late fall. This is the perfect item to keep warm when you go into mountainous areas and woods where it's likely to get into lower temps as I have recently done. 10/10 would recommend and buy again ... show more

I’ve never had a balacava before so I don’t have much to compare it to. I’m a female, if that matters, and the nose piece constantly falls down, even though I identify as a person with a larger nose! I was hoping to not fog my glasses up, but no success. The chin piece also feels weird. Like it’s not hitting me in the right spot? Quality seems very nicely made. It’s definitely warm. When playing Airsoft in the cold, it's nice to wear a face wrap. The only problem is that my breath will cause my goggles to fog. The mesh on this balaclava helps ventilate my breath, but will still fog up my goggles over time. Unlike face wraps and other balaclavas, this one is sustainable when I run my fan goggles, which is very important. This also hides my pasty white face.
