Used this kit with my 5-year-old grandsons and they absolutely loved it. They needed help, but could do a lot of it by themselves. It definitely takes another person to hold the pieces together while the screws are put in. We painted the finished projects with acrylics and then added the decals. The boys were incredibly proud of their finished projects, and want to do another one. It was a great way to introduce them to following directions in a different way from Legos. The directions were quite good and easy to follow. Highly recommended.

These items are very cute, and are packaged carefully so the parts for each item are bagged together. The package says this set is appropriate for age 3+, but that only applies to playing with the finished truck, birdhouse, etc. Assembling them requires hands strong enough to screw in the dozen or so screws for which the holes are quite SMALL. My 7-year-old grandson wasn't strong enough to screw any of them in, so I did them all. Also, the stickers that add color to the finished item don't stay on. Update: The seller contacted me about this item, and provided a small refund. I changed my rating from 3 stars to 4 for the kindness of the seller.

4 kits for $40 seemed reasonable. All pieces fit very well. Easy to follow instructions. Decorative stickers were ok, except where they were applied to curved surfaces where they tended to peal.

My five year old grandson and I spent days putting together these wonderful projects. They are manufactured carefully so holes line up. And all the parts are packaged for each project separately including screws and tools. It was the best toy Ive ever bought for him. He says he will pass the finished trucks on to his son someday! .
