Great Story! Chris McNally is so handsome and that boyish smile could melt the heart of a witch! Leah Renee is cute and vivacious and faces challenges with drive and grace. Together they save their beloved Blue Island from development. And end up getting married on his schooner!

    • Enjoyable romcom set on the water.
Enjoyable romcom film with a setting located on the water, surrounding land mass and island. The meet-cute strategically placed very early on at the start of the film is one of the best executed I've ever seen. Well done! The male lead takes the lead with his good looks, voice, sincerity and charm. Enjoyed the female lead in the movie, Love by the Book. The storyline is somewhat simplistic while stating a good cause but it's fun to watch, especially with the presence of the pandemic right now. The movie is a joy to watch. It's a great way to spend an afternoon or evening with a favorite beverage. Would like to see more of Fiona Vroom as a lead character in the Hallmark chain of films. She was a great addition in Flip that Romance, one of my many favorites. Garry Garneau would be a joy to watch even more as well. Recommend this movie. ... show more

As a Chris McNally fan, this is one of my favorites. I enjoy the scenery and the sailing. (I won't give it away, but the final scene is beautiful).

I loved this movie, even though I knew how it would end (it is a Hallmark Channel romance after all). Chris McNally and Leah Renee were charming together. The scenery was lovely. This is just another Hallmark dvd to add to my collection.
