So happy they had a purple color set because baby shower was purple theme color. •Brush is super soft and gentle on newborn hair. •Thermometer is easy to use and has a stop line for those that do rectal temperature check. I just recommend buying medical jelly because it doesn’t come with one. •Nail filers didn’t last long I felt like I used 3 of them just by doing 2 tiny hands. I did have to buy more nail filers to add to bag. •Nail clippers were nice and easy to use. It has this curve on the bottom to easily rest on the toes or fingers so you don’t cut them too short or accidentally hurt them. I do recommend just to file newborn nails I used the nail clippers on a toddler. ... show more

This kit sounded like a great idea as a first time mom. That being said, we are 8 months in and the only thing I have used in here are the nail clippers. Everything is just as pictured.
