I love shag rugs, but they always end up.looking matted and funky after awhile. Regardless, I couldn't find any other cream colored area rugs I liked, so I took a chance on this one, given it's reasonable price and overall positive reviews. This is honestly the nicest shag rug I have ever purchased. It's lovely. The pile is thick and soft, and most importantly the shag is densely woven; this makes such a difference in overall quality. The rug doesn't immediately go flat as soon as you step on it. Clearly I was buying the wrong shag rugs all this time, because none of them have been this densely woven. I can't say with certainty, but this rug seems like it will hold up well over time. The rug is also not in a high traffic area, so I'm optimistic. Of course, I expect shag to not look it's best after awhile, and at this price point, I wouldn't be devastated to have to replace eventually. I would happily purchase another, and I highly recommend this for a quality shag rug that doesn't break the bank. ... show more

I ordered the 8’6x12 in Ivory. Because of the weight, we had it delivered with Amazon’s $15. inside delivery service, which was also perfect. They brought it inside and opened it so I could see the backing and the fibers. They were careful, respectful of my home, took their time and made sure I was happy with it. This rug is so thick, soft and luxurious, I love walking across it with bare feet. Very good quality. No problems with it lying flat or uneven edges. Although it’s listed as Ivory, it really is a true Cream color with a barely perceptible hint of a warm undertone. It’s a perfect color match with a Smith Brothers Cream Chenille sofa. The price was amazing and less than a quarter of what I would expect to pay in a fine furniture or carpet store. The only drawback is not being able to use a vacuum with a beater bar, but we purchased a small, inexpensive shop vac for use with all of our rugs. ... show more

I can’t speak for the other models but I reviewed all of the safavieh rugs and decided mine had to be the “Milan” because it is thick and plush, not cheap looking. Other brands of rugs I’ve purchased in the past were so thin the backing showed through and were returned. I love my “Milan” rug. It’s everything I wanted and more! Very happy! ... show more

I have purchased this exact rug 4-5 times over the last 10 years! I love it so much! We currently have a huge one in our office and a smaller one in my boys’ bedroom, over the years I’ve had multiple in my main Livingroom and dining room but my style changes so much. This rug is PLUSH and SO SO comfortable to lay or sit on. My Dyson vacuums it well but other vacuums tend to struggle (I have the shark navigator at my office and it works but it struggles, my little tineco doesn’t work on it at all) I’ve used my Hoover carpet cleaner on it a few times (puppies 🤦🏻♀️ and kids ) and it cleans so nicely and keeps its plush texture once dried. Stains always seem to lift out so well! The one in my office is about 5-6 years old and it still looks beautiful even in a Diesel Shop office with my greasy mechanic husband, a cat and my messy children! if you want a beautiful, cozy rug get this one! The rug is soft and blush as reviews state. But on carpet or wood floor it has ripples and an oder that hasn't gone away. One review stated it smelled but went away after awhile. This is actually my 2nd of these rugs that I’ve bought because they are absolutely perfect! I’ve had white shag rugs in my family room for 15 years now and this is probably my 3rd or 4th. The first 2 I bought were from Home Depot and they were thin and not real soft but ok for my home. Then I decided a few years ago to give this one a try and I will never go back! They roll over beautifully and you really don’t need to do anything to get the edges to lay down, they do so within a day or two by itself. The rug itself is thick and so soft, it’s truly perfect for a family room. I get a new one every few years because well it’s a white rug in a house with 3 children, a sports loving husband who likes to have snacks in the family room and dogs. The last one I had lasted for 3 years and I was pretty happy with that, it was dirty in the high traffic areas and we were ready for a new one. After 3 years the carpet was still soft and held up nicely, just dirty and worn from constant tread. I will recommend this rug to everyone. I’m sure I’ll be back in a few years for a new one because they’re that good! ... show more

Updating home office and had a murphy bed installed. When the bed comes out, there are 2 metal leg supports rotate out. I didn't want the legs on the hardwood floor. I also didn't want a rectangular rug because the space would look undone/unfinished with the murphy bed closed up. The round rugs were a perfect solution to add interest in the room! I bought two 4ft rugs in red and black which I was disappointed by. So, I called my mother-in-law and had her screenshot the label from the back of her rugs! I needed to decide on color. I bought 3 5ft round rugs. I settled on the red and white for the office and moved the round grey one to the master bedroom. The rugs have a plush feel, the backing has a blended jute the edges are beautifully finished. The rugs are substantial enough to stay in place.
