Like many other reviewers, I really love this rug. From a distance, it’s very soft and subtle but when you stand on top of it, you can really appreciate the muted design and specific colors, splash of pink teal black, gold gray a little bit of a light green. If you’re looking for something traditional and modern this fits the bill 100%. It really is amazing pictures don’t do it justice. Lead very flat after I unfolded it. Slight odor but nothing intrusive. Also it is not true to size like the other reviewer’s wrote. I ordered the 9 x 12 and it is actually eight for 8’8” x 12”. I ordered an 8 x 10 blue/light blue medallion rug for my dining room and am very satisfied with the quality, pattern and colors. It came rolled up and laid flat immediately. There was no odor. The colors are just as I hoped they would be. The light blue is more of a teal blue which is what I wanted. This oval rug was a bit crumpled in shipment and I was concerned someone might trip. No problems. It has relaxed and looks great in my breakfast nook. I have not spot cleaned nor am I concerned with softness as it is placed under an oak table. Love the colors.

I saw this rug and thought it would be perfect. I have a smaller Safavieh Vintage rug that is a smaller and softer than this one. But since this one is going to have a coffee table on it, I am not as worried about the softness. The best part is it doesn't have a strong chemical smell. I bought a local rug and when I got it home and unwrapped it the chemical smell was over powering. I literally have been putting it outside everyday to get the smell out. Now all rugs have a slight chemical smell but this one is very faint which is important to me. The colors are perfect also, just like the picture. My son likes orange so I got the Blue/Light Blue with the orange accents. I will definitely by another Safavieh rug in the future. ... show more
