The rug is really great for the price! Very durable and easy to clean (especially with long dog hair or mud). No issues with rolling, getting it to lay flat, or with smell. The rug does smell a little upon first opening, but pretty quickly wears off. I found baking soda with some sort of smell good (spices, fabric softener, or essential oils) make the smell go away quickly! For reference, I ordered the ivory/silver in 6x9. After ordering and returning several rugs from other companies, I was really hoping to love this rug - and I do! It’s exactly as pictured/described and a great price. This rug is also OEKO-TEX certified, which is important to me, although I didn’t see that mentioned on the Amazon listing (I reached out to Safavieh directly, and there is an OEKO-TEX label on the underside of the rug). I do not have a rug pad underneath, as my couch keeps the rug in place. It was a bit bumpy from being rolled when it first arrived, but I set some heavy-ish boxes on top to help it lay flat more quickly. From my photos you may also notice that the colors do change depending on the direction of the lighting that hits it. Sometimes the pattern is a bit more prominent, and other times it’s extremely subtle and almost non-existent, which I like. It’s not an overly soft rug, but it looks great in my space and was a great price. I’m glad I went for the slightly larger size, and it was nice knowing I could return for free if it didn’t meet my expectations. ... show more

Love the design and the price of this rug , the only complaint is the corners came bent and have loose thread. I’ve had it for a month now and it still hasn’t fully flattened out even with keeping light weights on the edge and corners .

The company was easy to contact when I had questions about whether this rug had added flame retardants, it does not. It’s also Oeko Tex certified which was important for me. Very nice looking pattern, no issues. It has a medium carpet pile, but I would still suggest a rug pad underneath.

It’s super cute, perfect size but it’s definitely not as thick as described. It’s so thin I can feel the cold of the ground though it. I like that it’s oeko but the reason I purchased was because it looks thicker ando was going to use it for my daughters play area but like I said, it’s too thin.

I feel like rugs are always so hit or miss but this rug is exactly what I was looking for! It’s soft and has enough cushion as is.
