The Mk23's length makes the usual strong-side belt holster impractical, because the ride is too high to present effectively. The 6005 is a solid rig that allows for lots of adjustment. The straps are comfortable and have just the right amount of give. The buckle that allows for quick-detach of the thigh rig from the belt loop is convenient, but takes up an extra inch. It's probably not an issue if you are taller, but at 5'10" the ride was just a tiny bit low, even with all the slack taken out. Used the shell from this rig attached to a Safariland 6004 drop flex adapter for a better fitting result. ... show more

H & K Mark 23 is too big for a hip holster or shoulder rig leaving only a leg harness. With only minor adjustments (the Allen wrench was not included), holster fit perfectly. Was a little surprised by the weight, but again, was just exactly what I needed to haul that monster around.
