First off, let me say how beautiful these wings are. I ordered them for my Victoria's Secret halloween costume because of their size and resemblance of the runway wings that the angels wear. These wings are amazing. They are delicate and fragile since they are comprised of meticulously glued together bird feathers. I have used these in some photographs, and have been very pleased with their detail and life-like appearance. You do have to be careful folding them open and shut, but I've used them quite a bit over the last few years, and the material is still in good shape. It's nice that when you have folded them, they don't open. I still keep them stored in the plastic covering and cardboard they arrived in. I bought this thinking that these were beautiful, high-quality wings but please don't waste your money! They are made with a piece of cardboard with feathers glued on! You could spend $10 at Hobby Lobby and an hour of your time and make these yourself... Probably better. These wings are cheap, flimsy, and stained in spots. I can't believe I dropped $50+$15 shipping on this junk. If I had more time before Halloween I'd make new ones myself. I bought these to save me some time because I work 2 jobs. Also, as a side note, the product said it came with a free halo and it did not. This was the WORST product I've ever purchased on Amazon and I felt I really needed to warn others about the shoddy "craftsmanship" of this product. ... show more

They are beautiful, however it is something i could make, as an artist i feel lazy and made at myself that i didn't think about how easy it is. i wouldn't mind the cardboard underneath if they didn't use black sharpie to outline the wings for when they got cut out. i am a little disappointed at the sloppiness but from a far they look really nice. ... show more

My daughter wore them to a Halloween party and I honestly thought that they would be ruined by the end of the night but they weren't. They held up perfectly.
