I received one of these tumblers years ago as a gift. It instantly became my favorite travel coffee mug to take to work. I'd planned to get a matching one for my husband, but we hadn't been drinking much coffee on the go since switching to work-from-home. He ended up having to go into the office recently and used my tumbler. He came home marveling at how his coffee had stayed hot all day. He's not really one to notice or comment on such things, so I immediately bought him his own. These tumblers are BEAUTIFUL and really well constructed - after years of use (probably more accurate to say abuse) my old tumbler still looks brand new. I even wash them in the top rack of the dishwasher with zero issues. They retain temperature SO WELL - either hot or cold. I love that they fit perfectly and securely in every cupholder I've ever put them in, even some notoriously problematic ones in friends' and family members' vehicles. One thing to note is that they switched from the old stainless lids with the open lip to the new clear slide-shut lids. I ended up purchasing a stainless lid like mine for my hubby's tumbler because I think they're nice for coffee, help with temperature retention, and are all but indestructible. I did like the new clear lid that his came with, though, and will likely use it with cold beverages or when a more spill-proof option is called for. After years of owning a mismatched collection of low-quality travel mugs, it is so nice to have a set of buy-it-for-life-quality containers like these. ... show more

The title says pretty much how I feel about this product. This particular Rose Agate comes with lid. It fits in my car cupholders, that's important since my other favorite S'well, the Travelers don't. This is not spill proof if the top is tilted even with the slider closed. It's not a big deal for me. I really like it because it's very beautiful and I just want something to keep my beverage hot/warm for a longer period of time. I use it almost daily and bring it to my coffee shop as my personal cup for my iced latte addition. It holds up well, and keeps my drinks cold for a long time. I have also gotten several compliments on the wood look. Haven’t had any issues with it leaking while drinking. However, it’s not meant for travel if filled as sloshing around in a bag would probably cause spills. It’s really meant for “use it when you’re going to actually drink from it”. I already own 3 of them, the designs are beautiful. It keeps my coffee warm for hours and doesn’t chip like other cups. Little tip: do not remove the black slider on the lid in order to wash underneath, it breaks off. I use floss to clean under and around it.

    • Cold leaky coffee, mmmm!
You'll be lucky if this item can keep a drink warm for two hours, and the lid design is so poor that it leaks through the supposed seal all over your shirt every time you tip it back. It's the worst thermal mug I've ever used and I couldn't return it fast enough.
