Great product, I couldn't be more pleased with the performance aspect as well as the detailed instructions on how to assemble properly. Intend on using a feeler gauge and file to get rings to specifications; from factory they are slightly outside optimal gauge. Took less than a day for dis-assembly and reassembly and I've never worked on a bike before (only tore apart cars as a mechanic). Quality of products are standard among S&S production line: American made, great looking, great function, sturdy and durable. If you've never tore apart a bike before, take pictures of things you remove for ease of reassembly. This kit is an easy install even for an inexperienced mechanic. One note: Because the cyl go ON the piston while the piston is connected to the rod, using standard ring compressors will result in your inability to remove the ring compressor from being wrapped around the rod once the cyl are put on. Work around: find or purchase a hose clamp (thicker the better) of at least 4.0-4.25" in diameter in lieu of a ring compressor. This will enable you to remove your compressing device (clamp) from the rod once you get the cyl over the piston. *** Highly recommended*** ... show more
