I love this dye!! Shirts have been coming out so hot! I read reviews and want to give some tips. Don’t use it on wet fabric. Use it on dry fabric. The brightness stays when you do this. When I did it on wet fabric it faded when I washed it. On dry it stayed the same! Some i had to redo when dry and it looked better. Immediately after the dye dries iron the item! This helps set the color. Then let it sit a bit maybe even a day and wash it inside out. I recommend using woolite also in the wash to keep brightness of any dyed items. Cold water. Low heat to dry. Trust me it looks completely different when you do it on wet fabric. I’m learning bc I have an Instagram selling them (@alltyedupwitluv) and learned that as I went! I got this tie dye set because the neon colors looked awesome, and I hadn't seen a set like it before. After following the provided instructions to make different tie dye designs, I've realized that tie dye just shouldn't come in spray bottles. All the shirts I dyed stayed mostly white because it's impossible to get the amount of dye needed to go all the way through a twisted t-shirt, much less anything thicker. Unless you're wanting to stencil something or dye something smaller, I would stick with a set that uses squeeze bottles. The colors are really gorgeous though, so if you still order these maybe transfer the dyes into some of those condiment squeeze bottles. ... show more

I was really excited to try this product since you can spray these dyes instead of having to use 100 different bowls to mix colors, it really seemed convenient. Especially if you only wanted to dye one item, saves a bunch of time. We used this last night with my stepson (8 years old) and MOST of the sprayers didn't work well. The first few did and then we had to run them under hot water for a while or ditch the sprayer and pour the dye directly on the shirt he was making. It was a bit frustrating. Also, with his 8 year old hands, his fingers got tired easily from having to spray so much. The neon colors are cool and look very vibrant and he was thrilled with how it turned out, but it was a bit frustrating to have a FRESH OUT OF THE PACKAGE sprayer (many of them) not work well. Overall, the ease of being able to spray the shirt instead of dip was nice, but I wouldn't buy this again because of faulty sprayers. ... show more

We LOVED this tie dye! It was so much easier to use than the traditional tie dyes, and the shirts we dyed were laundered and ready to be warn just a few hours after dying them! We tie dyed outside, then let the shirts sit out in the sun, which dried them fully in about 2 hours, and then we just threw them in the dryer (on high) to heat set for 20 mins, and then finally washed and dried them as normal. From beginning to tie dye (we dyed 12 shirts with a five year old) to the finished product being washed and ready to wear, all told, took about 5-6 hours. MUCH quicker turn around than traditional tie dyes. And our shirts came out great! I got a 3 pack of primary color dye from the same company in addition to the galaxy pack, and we have a ton of dye left. We could easily do another two dozen shirts. My five year old loved helping, and the spray bottles were just perfect for that. He is so proud of his creations! Also, I was surprised to see that the glow in the dark dye (comes in the galaxy pack) actually works, even after laundering! I was skeptical, but it works great, which was quite exciting for my son! I would highly reccomend this product, and will plan on using it again the next time we tie dye. ... show more

5 stars for the vibrant colors 5 starts for the color not fading after you wash, the shirts in the photo have been washed 2-3 times. 1 star for the cheap spray bottles the product comes in. A few of the bottles broke during the first shirt, others sprayed a stream, while the other ones sprayed a big circle with a void in the center-making it hard to control. The payers that did work were too hard for my 5 year old to pump. With a working spray bottle, the dye will not be able to penetrate into the fold, so we chose a crinkle or simple pleat technique. If you want to do a spiral design you will want to pour the dye on rather than spray. I made these 4 shirts plus one for Grammy and only used about half of each bottle. ... show more

We used this for t-shirt dyeing at Girl Scout camp. The girls loved spraying it and we liked the fact that all we had to do was wait till they dried and just iron set them. They turned out really nice. Girls from age 9 to 15 were involved. Thanks
