The edges are pretty much like a butter knife if not a bit sharper. Not as round as it looks on the product images. You can tell the edges were not rounded smooth and where it was sharpened to be reduced. Noticed after trying to use it once my hands would hurt from holding the edges cause they are a bit too sharp. Overall is not as satisfactory as other tools I've used before. Hoping its not the same experience for other buyers, but be ware it can be a bit sharp. ... show more

Dealing with plantar fasciitis and this tool has been recommended to work with. Of course I read reviews for the SAME STYLE tool and one person recommended another brand because others he had tried weren't as heavy and weren't stainless steel. I almost just went with his recommendation because I didn't want the delay of having to return an item but in yhe end I just decided to take a chance on this one which was almost $6-$15 LESS than others. Well... BOY AM I HAPPY I DID!!! 😊 This is THE NICEST, SMOOTHEST, HEAVIEST (in a GOOD way!!!) body work/IASTM/Graston/Gua Sha tool ever! This massaging tool does exactly what it supposed to do for tennis elbow. I have had tennis elbow for almost one year now and this does a very nice job of getting into the “crunchy” tissue and breaking it up. I was surprised that it also came with a small plastic travel massager for tennis elbow as well. Although I did not purchase this for my dog he loves it! He was so excited and curious when it arrived so I gently rubbed it on his back and every time I reach for it he, he expects a gentle massage haha! It is really effective for broad side scraping and for getting between metacarpals in my hand, but the edge is very close to 90 degree angle and feels pretty sharp/like a pinch when using any amount of firm pressure. I wish it was smooth on the edges like the photo/item description advertised. Did come with a (free gift) smaller plastic tool that is smooth, which is actually nicer than the advertised product. ... show more
