First off this is my favorite brand. I have a high arch & have always had to use arch insoles. Without them, I get knee & hip pain. I've ordered this brand several times before in a different style. Since my first pair, I decided I will never order anything else. My pain was gone & they are a reasonable price & hold up well. While comfortable, these are very wide & do not hug the distal end of my feet well. I ordered an 8, regular width, same as always. The widest part of my foot is moving from side to side & will not provide the kind of support that I need as a cheerleading coach. I just got these and was willing to accept that they definitely run larger than expected! So my heel comes up a bit while exercising but I can over look that. The fact that the sole was already breaking loss is wrong! I use this for my aerobic workouts which require a lot of side to side movements.. just surprised that after 3 wears they already were falling apart. Bought these for the gym, received many compliments on the look of these shoes. My "uniform" for the gym is usually black pants, black shirt, so these give me a pop of color that is nice, but not too loud. The shoes are very supportive, so no knee or back pain that I can get wearing shoes with no support. My only complaint is that the shoes go up pretty high on my heel, so they occasionally rub when I am doing side lunges or similar moves. ... show more

I have wide big feet with high arches. These shoes ( Vivid Cross Trainer) have been a life saver. I feel secure in them, with lots of arch support. And they have much more cushion , especially in the forefoot area, then the Influence shoe. I have made these my high impact shoe, and it has really helped my knees. I still like the others, but they are going to be for mat workouts. Had them for a month now, with High impact cardio classes twice a week ( at least) with Zumba a couple times a week . And still holding up without loss of cushioning. Oh and I am technically a senior citizen.... ... show more

I have had so much trouble finding the right fitting shoe as I have a wide base and a Narrow heel. Most shoes slip on my heel but this shoe was a Perfect fit, and not an bit of movement! The shoe looks just as pictured and was very comfortable and light weight. I'm Keeping them!

It could just be me but the 7.5 wide was too small which is my normal size. However the 8 med fits well. The shoe is nice and light. The shoe is not super cushioned but they felt ok in Zumba class.

I have purchased Ryka shoes for years and always loved them, however have found lately difficult to get some shoes I like in my size. Also regarding the last pair I purchased, my previous shoes were a little loose at the toe box, but this pair did not seem as roomy in the toe
