My living room is street facing on a road that many people walk down. This room is also the only South-facing room in the house - so if I don’t allow light in the rest of the house will be fairly dark. I got the linen curtains, and they provided just enough light and privacy. You can see through them if someone was to go up and peep in the window, but for the average passerby further away on the sidewalk, its opaque. (Yes, I’ve checked). I love these. They fit our kitchen perfectly. The are kind of like a sheer burlap sack. It's hard to get that to not sound like a negative but it's not. They manage to pull it off and look nice in the small window over the sink. I don't know if I would use them on any full length windows. Very pleased with these curtains. Flax linen has a nice texture. They are a decent weight. Look more expensive than the price. The cream is a lovely color with yellow undertones- picture 3. The others are the curtains in natural.

The photo didn’t come out as drastic as in person, but these are EXACTLY what my front window needed. At night with the lights on my existing curtains just blurred the view into my home, but did not actually block anyone from seeing all the way through my house. I love the color and pattern of my curtains but unfortunately they only come in semi-sheer. So I thought maybe I could layer with another semi-sheer curtain to create privacy, and it worked very well. I LOVE the weight, texture, color, and feel of these curtains; they are truly lovely on their own and I am quite pleased to have them hanging in the window that people pass in front of to reach my front door. These are stunning for the price!! I doubled up the panels (6 total) for more fullness but it looked fine when it was just one panel on each side. But having two panels together looks more cozy and full which I prefer for my living room. Highly recommend these! These are good for the price, I bought them to match another set I have on another window that was discontinued. The other curtains were linen, and I would not necessarily call these linen. The fabric isn’t the softest fabric like linen, but it works. They are still sheer and flowy.
