I bought 9 panels in total and am happy with the purchase overall. They are thick but are not black out curtains. They are a true white in color and will need to be ironed or steamed to remove the fold lines. They hang a bit still so I would recommended going a few inches longer than needed to get a fuller look. This is a nice curtain. You can't see through it but some light does come in. But to be fair - it wasn't listed as blackout just room darkening. I bought white so maybe the darker colors might make the room darker. It's good quality.
