I've been using these in my bedroom for at least 6 months now. They aren't 100% blackout but they completely remove the street light right outside my window, so I suspect everyone except shift workers would find them good enough. I do think it's important not to stretch them out fully - technically one panel should have fit the full window width but I oped for two, and the extra folds help. The fabric is thick and these drape nicely. I haven't tried washing them yet so can't comment on how they'll hold up there, but overall I'm very pleased with this purchase. ... show more
