They will last much longer than the cheap plastic chairs that crack within 2 years. I'd say the only down side is that they are heavy to move around but that is not an issue for us.

Excellent materials used in the chair and it is quite comfortable. However, assembly is required and is not simple. The parts bag in both chairs I bought had opened and and items were loose in the box. There were parts missing from both. However, since they were somewhat common through bolts, I was able to replace them at the local hardware store. The directions were incorrect as to which bolt to use in one step of the instructions. The pre drilled holes on one chair part did not line up and I had to redrill it. If I wasn’t relatively handy these would have been returned. Once assembled they fold as advertised. They are quite heavy and I expect they will hold up well. For the price it seems the company could take more care in the packaging of the materials and the accuracy of the instructions.

These look great and are very sturdy! Took about a half hour to put together each one. These were much cheaper than most of the other hdpe chairs and are quality chairs.

I had it 80% assembled, then this (see pics). If I had a power drill I probably could have fixed it, but I don't so back to Amazon it went. Earlier in the assembly the instructions called for the wrong bolt; three steps later I had to disassemble/reassemble to retrieve it. ALSO beware that the chair is quite heavy, at over 40 lbs! Very poor show by this supplier, who for the price should have shipped it pre-assembled.

As with about fifty percent of the people who reviewed this chair, I was also surprised that it had to be assembled. I also assumed it would come folded in a box. At this price point, it really should have come assembled. Moving beyond that, the chair is nice and heavy and well constructed. It's either wood covered with weatherproof material or a composite material but either way it feels solid. The instructions are not as clear as they could have been but if you have patience you can figure it out. My belief is that it will hold up well inside or outside but here in Florida the scorching heat, daily brutal rains, and all the mildew and mold can eventually destroy anything...so I will try to keep mine clean and under cover as much as possible. Overall, I'm very pleased with this chair.

I love this chair. It is super sturdy, and HEAVY! The wood seems to be really good quality. I have no doubt this chair will withstand the test of time. That being said, oh my days the instructions are stressful lol. If you are familiar with this type of chair, I would assume it wouldn’t be as stressful. But as I have never assembled one, I really need specifics when it comes to instructions. Other than that, I have no complaints!

I thought I was going to get a fully assembled chair folded down in a box and I would pull it out, unfold it and Voila', have a beautiful Adirondack chair!!! However, it comes in lots of heavy pieces that someone is going to have to put together because this old broad is Not going to be doing it!!! It feels, looks and appears to be WOOD, not plastic, (which is a good thing), it is Very heavy, I swear it IS wood with a poly coating that will keep it new looking for many years to come!!! I do love the chair, even in all the pieces (It comes in a large, HEAVY box that really looks like you are going to slide out a fully assembled chair)...but you are Not!!! I suppose once someone puts this together someday it will be a Five star beauty that will last forever and does Not look like a cheap plastic chair!!! It looks like great Quality and I can't wait to see it put together once I can bribe a neighbor someday!!! Good quality!! Thank you!!
