Used this for charging an EV. Works good and had no issues with it. Price was right and it includes everything you need. Only complaint would be that the lid dose not have a catch to hold it open, but thats not a big deal.

Box is heavy duty, well built. Would buy again. BUT. 2 small annoying things. 1, if you are dealing with top mounted conduit, none of the plates it comes with fits the top. Only the side. So you have to drill it out. 2, the lid, does NOT want to stay up and open. This isn't a huge deal, but made it a pain in the butt during the install. I ziptied it up during install ... show more

The box is sturdy and includes the 14-50R receptacle which is compatible with my VW Level 2 charger. I like how it comes with three different sized conduit connector plates, and the connection can be installed on any of the various sides. The receptacle was compatible with 6 AWG wires and the screws on the receptacle provided a secure connection. The depth of the box is nice and provided good value for the money since it included the receptacle. The ground wire is secured to the inside of the box for added safety. ... show more

Very sturdy box, easy to wire, has 3 different accurately sized hole adapters included. Very good price, but door has no built-in way to remain open. Most difficult part of install was figuring out a way to prop the door open.
