Sometimes in an RV, the hot sun hits the entry door window and creates more heat. Or RV park lights or headlights interrupt sleep because they can glare through the RV door window. This inexpensive but effective shade takes care of both problems. And during the day, it can be folded up half way to add light in from the door when wanted. One small preference would be that the shade would have the ability to open more than half way to allow more light when preferred. ... show more

My family lives in our RV full time in Texas. This was our first summer in the RV and it was impossible to keep cool. One of the things we did is get these shades for the door windows. I have two. I put them up in 5 minutes max. They work perfectly!! Keep the inside darker and cooler!

The cover fits well. The Velcro holds tight. I got a little confused at the end with the placement of the Velcro, so be careful to follow instructions. Fits well on my RV door window. Simple install, attach the velcro strips, using the adhesive side towards windows frame. Attach the shade and that's about it. The adhesive seems to be holding and without problems. Like it so well, going to buy another for the back door.

These RV window shades are very good. Compared to others we tried, these completely block incoming light and block a great deal of heat from the Arizona sun. They’re thick and sturdy. What doesnt work, is the adhesion to the window. it is so hot in AZ , during RV storage in the summer reaching 120 degrees, the adhesion glue actually melts off the back of the Velcro strip and window. Ive tried sticking it to the wall above the window and same thing, it melts off. We just stick the shades up into the window and pull the accordion window covering over the top of it. Stays pretty well. Even with the adhesion issue, i still use the shades in all of our RV windows. ... show more
