  • Worked as Expected
I have a Cubic Mini Cub woodstove with a 3" metal pipe. This brush works perfectly to clean out the pipe. 10' is exactly the right length for my setup too. Coils right back up for compact, easy storage. Would recommend.

  • Works great
Perfect for my stove

  • Works OK with Limitations After Some Tweaking
The line appears to be a solid, semi-rigid PVC extrusion. The brush screws onto a crimped metal tip. There are a couple of things that I needed to do to be able to use this to clean lint out of a straight rigid metal duct running inside of a finished wall. First, put a drop of red loctite on the brush threads. This will help prevent the head from unscrewing from the line and becoming trapped inside the duct. I can't foresee any practical reason to remove the brush from the line. Second, and this takes some time and effort, the line needs to be straightened out. I found it to be unusable out of the package as it would bind inside the duct and not feed more than about 1'. I clamped the brush end in a soft vice the using hair dryer heat plus bending ~1' sections at a time, began to bend it by hand semi-straight. Once both "prep" steps were completed I was able to successfully feed the brush in through the duct (from the outside of the house inward) and clean out some lint. I should probably pull out the dryer and repeat from the inside out. Note that I found this to be too rigid to either pass through a 90-degree rigid duct elbow or a flexible duct connection between the dryer and the wall. Despite cleaning the lint screen with every dryer cycle, a lot of lint does build up over time. Eventually the dryer performance may decrease, and in extreme cases could cause a fire. With that said, every 5-10 years doing this job is probably sufficient for most residential users. Overall it is ok and just one of several tools needed to adequately clean out dryer lint from the entire system. ... show more

  • Dryer vent kit
Very easy to use
Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2024 by Well it works as it should but it has a blank square on the top of the screen so it doesn’t show the whole screen of the fire.

  • Guess you get what you pay for
Plastic brush and flexible wand not easy to use and dies not clean well. Brush came off inside pipe and had to get a metal coat hanger to fish it out.

  • Works as it's suppose to.
I followed someone else's comment on heating the rod up to straighten it back out. And after that is worked great.

  • What a handy tool for cleaning a 4 inch pipe
Super easy to use. We have a tiny house and use a tent stove to heat our home. This brush made short order of the soot. We love it.

  • Good pellet stove chimney cleaning tool when used properly
These brushes work well, they just aren't super-sturdy. I have a pellet stove with an exhaust consisting of 2 - 45 degree bends to get outside and then a 12' chimney with a cleanout at the bottom. As long as you can pull the brush, they work great. If you have to push, the flexible rod is too flexible and the brush won't go far. Too much pushing, and the flexible rod breaks. For the bendy sections of pipe I have - I have to suck through a string with my wet/dry vac, then pull through a rope, then attach the rope to the rod / brush, and then pull it through. If I try to force the brush through the two 45's by pushing on the rod....it is a struggle. It worked a few times, then broke. Now that I know the limitations, this brush/rod should last a lot longer than my first one. ... show more
