OMG - I AM IN LOVE!!! These skates rock! size is actually a bit large as I normally wear a size 9.5-10 and these size 9 are a bit large, I will wear thick socks though and we should be fine. They are sturdy and they perform well! And trust me, I know skate performance, I was a derby girl for 4 years when I was younger. I haven't been on skates in almost 25 yrs now, but my kids wanted to start skating and these were perfect to ease me right back in! They arrived with a tool also to adjust the wheels/speed as needed which was a God Send for this old lady! We were able to start slow and then adjust them when I was ready. The black and pink design reminded me of my derby days! Definitely recommend these! ... show more

We expected a little nicer feel for the money, but they’re still pretty good. The PU leather is OK, but who knows long term after a year of use. The wheels are very nice and have good grip. Sadly the bearings are not at all even and at least one might need to be replaced. With the nuts fairly tight all the wheels roll with a fair amount of expected resistance, but it is smooth. Yet a couple of them are very notably requiring more effort to roll. Loosening the nuts up frees up the rest to roll much easier, but those couple bearings are still very tough to move yet are smooth. It doesn’t seem to really affect use unless maybe you’re an expert roller and can feel the difference in use. Although it may spell early demise for those bearings. And finally the size is definitely larger than expected. So in this case my daughter is just going to wear thicker socks and it seems to be OK. ... show more

I really like these! They are comfortable, easy to skate in/smooth ride as well as stop and the sizing is accurate. I purchase a 7.5 in women's and they came with an extra set of laces and the box is cute too. As picture it also comes with a tool to switch out the wheels. I use these for casual skating and no complaints here! ... show more

I remember my skates from back in the day. I'd give the wheels a spin and they would spin so fast! I pulled there's put of the box and have the wheels a fast spin.... And they just have a short revolution and stopped. I expected the long, loose spin. These felt more binding. The cushioning on the inside is a nice improvement! The feet are wider than what I need so I'll have to wear a couple socks since I have fairly narrow feet. The look great though! Overall, I like them! So glad they're coming back! ... show more

They're super cute and fit as expected. As far as actual skating goes, it's not as smooth as expected. It's like the wheels need to be greased or something. I like this though because it feels easier to control. Overall a nice pair for the price.

I honestly felt like these would not fit me. I am size 11ish female, these are for "women and girls", and the size is 9. It did say size 9 is 42, which is what I am, so I risked it. The US sizing must be for male sizing, I am not sure. They fit! Not only do they fit, they fit my wide-ish weird feet. They are not bad looking, at least I don't think so. I have not taken them out of the house but I did skate around the kitchen. I will practice around the house before braving outside but for now I am very happy. ... show more
