I have a 2011 GMC Acadia with original headlights. So you can imagine the grime on a 13 year old car. I don’t know if this would do the job on something like that solely by itself because we first bought a different kit off amazon that had sanding pads for a drill so we got a good chunk of it off prior to using it. However, after the first cleaning with the other kit it then went for roughly 5 months before I used this kit on it. When I tell you to keep repeating those sanding steps until it is clear I am not kidding. Don’t be lazy on this step, it will not work properly if you don’t get as much of the grime off as possible. The little double sided sanding pad was fine for my small hands to use, someone with larger hands might find it difficult to grip though. They do give you gloves though which is handy but again, they fit my small hands perfectly so someone with larger hands would want to use their own. Once I completed enough cycles of the sanding steps I applied the wipe new and it glistens like a brand new headlight. I wish I had taken before photos to show the difference, it’s so worth it, especially if you have a newer car that doesn’t have so much build up inside and outside the headlights, it’s a great way to restore them cheap and easy. 10/10! (Also important to note I bought this kit then my timing chains went and it took me 2 months to get the car fixed, so this kit sat forgotten in my trunk for 2 winter months and worked like brand new when I used it, the wipe was perfectly saturated still!)

This stuff works great. I used it to clean up the lens on a 2003 quad. Before use the screen was unreadable. I sanded on the screen with the provided pad and then applied the wipe. Instantly the readout was visible. A couple of notes for anyone using this product on an old screen. It might be good to hit the screen with fine sandpaper like 320 grit to knock down the bad stuff then use the provided pad. The provided pad is very light-grit and takes a while to polish the screen. After cleaning the display lens I used the wipe to clean up the faded red plastic on the body of the quad. The results were excellent. The quad looks great. One final note, use the provided gloves and make sure there is good ventilation.

After trying other options I decided to give this a try. The process was straight forward and labor intensive. The end result was a minor provement but definitely not a like new experience. In the end, and awhile later I replaced my headlight assembly.

I’ve used this product on many of the cars that I’ve owned over the years, and it just plain Works! If you have UV dulled or externally fogged/dirty headlights, try this product. You won’t be disappointed, as long as you follow the instructions!

I was recommended this product by the mechanic that replaced by headlight bulbs. I have a 2005 ML 500 and it was a struggle driving at night before I changed my headlights to HID. After using this kit, I am pleased on how well this restored my headlights. I did wet sand for about 30 mins before applying the final finish, but it was well worth it. Only time will tell how much this will last until it needs another restoration

The lenses on my 2015 pickup were pretty bad. Hazy, foggy, scratched, etc... I decided to give this product from Rust-Oleum a try. It's easy to use: 1) Make sure lens is clean 2) Wet the lens 3) Scrub with the green side of the included pad 4) Clean and wet again 5) Scrub with the gray polishing side of the pad 6) Clean and dry thoroughly 7) Put on included gloves, remove the wet wipe from the package and wipe across the lens being careful not to get the liquid on the paint. That's it. The improvement is pretty remarkable considering it took about 15 mins for the entire process. No need to remove the headlight assembly if you're careful while using the kit. I think it's easily worth $11.
