This paint has an unusual almost silicone like silkiness. Applied it to clean, relatively new grey steel door using good quality nylon brush and 4” foam roller. Ready to re-coat in only an hour. Took 2 coats to cover the grey finish. Don’t get discouraged by the appearance while the paint is still wet - once it dries it has a nice even satin finish. Great coverage and perfect rich color. In the picture I used two coats on the door. But covered great with one coat. Was nice and thick after a quick mix before use. I can't speak on the scratch resistance due to not sanding the door first. So it peels if scratched. (I tested on the door edge) Container is good for small projects (like 2-3 doors, with 2 coats a piece). Would buy again and recommend to others. ... show more
