I really like the simplicity of these, the ones you get from Walmart have that black stripe on the side which looks weird. I just wanted something basic that would pair nicely with my red shirt so I picked the royal blue color and it looks so good no matter what shirt I wear with it. These are also the most comfortable shorts I ever put on and the fabric is thin smooth and flexible like silk, it's more lightweight than the ones you can get at Walmart. I wear these indoors in the winter and these should keep me very cool outside in the summer. It even comes with nice large pockets and it fits me perfectly, and I only payed 15 dollars for it so I might buy it again in other colors next time.

Good material, good fit. The pockets are located further back than any shorts I’ve ever owned. Sounds odd, but you have to reach back around your waist to use the pockets. Otherwise, 5 stars.

I ordered the XL and they fit perfectly. I'm 6'2"/235lbs and normally wear size 38 waist in pants and shorts. As I've gained about 10-12 pounds recently, I would speculate that I am a 39 waist and these shorts would appear to fit fine for a 38-40 inch waist. The draw chord is a little short, but works well enough that I'm not taking any stars away. I've been using these shorts for a few weeks in the gym and they are comfortable at rest and while lifting and fit loosely, which I prefer. I've washed them about a dozen times and they seem to be holding up well and the color is still perfect. I carry my keys in my pocket and have not seen any holes forming in the pocket lining. So I recently ordered 2 more pairs!

If you're one of those guys that demands his shorts be hoochie daddy shorts (WAY ABOVE THE KNEE) these are NOT for you. These go past the knee, or just at the knee on me. Im 6'1" 230. I love the flowy free feel of them. They are thin, so if you go commando/freeball (no underwear) like me be prepared for your junk to bounce around when you walk. That doesn't bother me at all. The stitching seams quality, the material seems quality and I am quite pleased with these.

I bought two pair of these Russell nylon shorts. I was looking for the comparable quality the Dri-Power Russell shorts used to be. These shorts are lighter material; I can live with that. Carry the old logo; I can even live with that. What I can't live with- These shorts are easily 1 1/2 longer that my older pairs. In the picture shown for these, they appear to hit slightly above the knee. This is Not the Case!!! I can't stand nylon shorts that hit below the knee. When you sweat, these things will stick to you. This drives me crazy. Older pairs have an 8 inch inseam. These things are more like 9 1/2 or 10. Russell-BRING BACK A NYLON SHORT OF DECENT QUALITY WITH A TRUE 8 INCH INSEAM!! NOT 7, NOT 9!!!! I'd even pay a couple of bucks more for the things.

I really enjoy these shorts. They are lightweight, easily washable and fit well. I wear them all day sometimes, especially in very hot weather. I use them primarily for pickleball and walking my dog. So far, they seem to be durable as well.
