abunda_amazon_reviews Just ran the Star Wars half-marathon with the RB XL Pouch attached to a FlipBelt along with the RB H20 Pouch. You might think that it's overkill to have two products of pockets, but they feel like they were meant for each other. Tons of storage, comfortable, water, no shifting. The RB Pouch's long magnets keep the FlipBelt from scrunching, and the FlipBelt keeps you from attaching the Pouch to your shorts, which would sag and move you had a big phone and more only attached to your short's elastic. (See my set up in my fourth photo). I have three photos, before, during and after the half-marathon to show how practical this was. If you look at my first photo where I'm posing with Jabba the Hutt before the race you notice how much I was able to carry comfortably... 1) RB XL Pouch (on my back where a Stormtrooper would normally keep a thermal detonator, see my last photo): wife's aviator sunglasses since the race started before sunrise, 3 packs of gummies for the both of us, toilet paper (it's always a gamble with portapotties). 2) FlipBelt: Note 3 phone, wallet, hand sanitizer, my massive sunglasses hooked on the side. 3) RB H20 Pouch: 8oz of water (My wife only used the FlipBelt for her Note 4, and a RB H20 Pouch since I was able to carry everything else.) By the time we got to the Wampa photo-op at mile 9, I had given my wife her sunglasses I kept in my RB XL, and like a Jawa, I replaced that space with tons of free gels they were handing out. Also, notice how well my sunglasses hook to the side of the FlipBelt next to the RB H20. After the race, I tucked all the free crap either in the RB XL or between my FlipBelt and my body (free cooling towels, snacks, etc.) while we waited in line to take photos with Capt. Phasma of Tarth. In the past, I returned the other running storage products I tried because they did one thing well, but not everything well. This combination solves all the problems. So yeah, with this setup, I bet your phone would fit in the Buddy Pouch and it'd be comfortable and stable, but I'd rather keep other stuff in there. Highly recommended for longer runs, if you know you're going to use the portapotties, or if you think you might run into a Wampa in the middle of the race like we did. My jogging days are over, but I needed some type of "belly bag" to keep my passport and credit cards in while overseas. After researching a number of "belts," "pouches," and "bags," I came across this running buddy. All of the over items appeared to be cheaply made, or had zipper issues. This Running Buddy was perfect. I wore it for six days in Rio de Janeiro and it wasn't even noticable under my hanging shirt. It was easily accessible and didn't become a problem in the ninety degree heat. Because of its position slightly off center to my abdomen area, I never felt it wasn't secure. The only down-side to using this pouch as a place to safely store your valuables, is the magnets. The flaw is not in the item, but in the manner I was using it. The pouch is designed to be worn by joggers and runners; who are normally in an upright positon. When I sat at restaurant tables, the magnets separated. There was never a concern of losing the pouch because the back half was tucked into my trousers. It became a simple matter of re-adjusting the pouch magnets. If anything, the periodic adjustments reminded me the pouch was there...it was very easy to forget I was wearing it. I can't speak for it's functionality as a jogger's pouch; but would certainly recommend it for anyone looking for a easliy accessible pouch to keep your valuables in. (FYI...if you're concerned about what you can store in thie pouch..... I kept my passport, international driver's license and state license in one section of the pouch, and stored my credit cards, hotel door card and cash in the other section.
