I have had a few different batteries over the years, they range from 300w to 1000w. I mainly use them for backup, portable power for my portable fridge, and power source for video shoots. Those are my main use for the batteries I have. But the Runhood rallye1200 plus really caught my attention, with its capacity, and power output. The Runhood rallye1200 plus uses Lithium-ion battery cells, which is very safe, long lasting life, light weight, and constant power. most important is there’re four batteries coming with the package, so I can use the power whenever and no more waiting for a charge. Keep more and unlimited power for me. Those are very important qualities for me in a modular battery like this. Even though it might be a bit expensive for the Lithium-ion cells, they are totally worth it. The weight of the Lithium-ion cells is at least 50% less than the lead-acid type of batteries. The upgraded AC/DC inverter can output up to 1200w, with the peak at 2400w. This is the highest output I have seen from the runhood batteries. Which can run almost any appliance in my house. Some of the examples are, espresso machine 1000w, portable electric stove 1200w, microwave oven 1300w, laptop computer 90w. The upgraded AC/DC output really makes a big difference when it comes to emergency backup power. I don’t have to worry about which appliances to avoid during power outages. I can actually use the hair dryer when I need to, which is very important for me. Another major improvement is the charging ways of the Runhood rallye1200 plus, charging the battery without power station from AC/solar panel/car, that’s a really unique feature than other brands. I appreciate the idea of charging. That’s only runhood provides this kind of power station. I have to say that if you got one, you definitely will love it. After I get this 1200w unit, I got more batteries and other accessories from runhood store. Batteries can be used as a mini power station and huge power bank for my laptop and phone. I am very impressed with all the upgrades on the Runhood rallye1200 plus, feel this will be my main backup battery to use around the house or when I am going to remote locations. The media could not be loaded. Our family goes camping a few times a year and I am tiered of running to the car and charge our stuff and dealing with ice coolers. So I searched for bigger power banks and found some cool options but I had to choose different power outputs, so it seemed like I had to buy at least 2 which is expensive!! I stumbled across this Runhood one and it solved this issue. It has removable batteries! So you can bring 1 battery for the short trip or bring multiple for the longer trip! I bought the one with a 4 pack of batteries. It’s so easy to use and displays exactly what the usage is and how far until you run out of juice. The best thing is that it has a cigarette lighter output so now I can bring my portable fridge. It comes connectors to connect to solar panels (separate) and it has a built in led with SOS signal. I waited a while b4 writing an review so I could try and test everything. I love that it has interchangeable batteries and that you can buy more separately (which I plan to do), and that you can use them by themselves is great. No issue with solar panels. Charges batteries just fine, it's just remembering to shift panels around as sun moves bc it does take time when at low charge. This thing can power more than I thought it could and it's great to know if we lose power I can still use our keurig and a portable stove top. It aslo covers tv, microwave, ninja, blender, ice maker (sm) and every small electronic. Only downside i have really is weight of it all together. Upside, with so many parts the bag really is a nice touch. But time will tell about it's ability to last. ... show more
