    • High quality and great fit.
Like so many other reviewers, I found these to be high quality and cover the door sill completely. I took my time installing them and dry-fitted them for position marking the sill with a piece of painters tape when I was happy with the look. I started with the top skinny tape pushing down and in a little at a time as it met the plastic just inside the sill so no paint was visible in between. Once that was in place I did the same with the bottom tape pushing in and down a little at a time so it was flush with the back and bottom of the sill.     • Prevent damage to your new ride's finish.
There are a lot of sill guards out there. I shopped them all for a long time, before I selected these from Rugged Ridge. I feel I made a good choice. They are nice and thick. They conform well to the shape of the sill. The heavy duty 3M adhesive tape adheres well. They are all labeled left or right, with the tooling marks underneath. The front ones were pretty easy to align, using the hump for the body bolts as locaters. The back ones were a little more difficult. You have to use your eye for uniformity and good judgement to make sure they are properly aligned, looking for good centering and the flattest and most level position. But, I think I got it right. It looks good and there's no give when I push down on it. So, good deal. I like these sill protectors. They will prevent the sills getting all scratched up as people climb in and out of my new Jeep. Easy install, the 3m tape sticks perfect - the only problem i have on a 22 Sahara 4xe is the top lip on the sills makes the door seals not seal 100%. Only put them on a week ago so hoping the door seal gets used to them, but after install i went to a brush less car wash and the high pressure rinse did let some water sneak into the jeep on the drivers door only. Still rated 5 stars - they look great and feels like they are very durable ... show more

    • Easy install and great fit
Easy to install. On the back side, it says whether it is LH (Left Hand) or RH (Right Hand). The front side is easier as the bulge fits into the bolt and there is only one position it snaps right into place. On the rear sides, you would need to check different positions moving it forward/backward and use your best judgement. Make sure the position you choose doesn't make it protrude out of the door sill. Ended up buying a set when they went on sale for around $38. Worked and fit perfectly. Anyone can install, for it's very simple to do. Even match my Rugged Ridge floor mats, which is an added bonus! Can't speak to the durability since I just installed them, but will update this review if I end up having any issues. However, based upon what I've seen so far, it's not something I'm concerned with. If I were able to critique one thing, it'd be the size of the rear ones. They do the job, but seem like they could've been a little longer. ... show more

    • Dry fit before removing red tape covering the adhesive. Clean surface!!
Great fit, saves the paint from enter/existing the vehicle. Looks factory, easy install. Dry fit first, clean area, and then remove the red tape, covering the adhesive strip. Line up and set into place. I closed the doors after install, helped keep pressure on adhesive strip. Have not had a single problem, or loss of adhesion. A very good product at a good value. The material is a hard rubber, not plastic, and provides good traction under foot. The color and finish are very similar in appearance to the OEM plastic and rubber surfaces. I really like the coverage. They cover from the interior trim to the outer edge of the rocker panel. If your Jeep is showing scratches on the rocker these will hide most if not all of that. If it’s new then these will add a touch of class while protecting your new paint. 2021 JL ... show more
