Love the color and look, mounting is easy but when mounted with just the supplied materials the cover is solid but not the antenna base behind it, to correct this issue I used rubber washers from screws that are used to secure metal siding to buildings, put the new screws through the new base and then add the washers before attaching to the Jeep, after this the antenna mount is rock solid just like the factory mount. ... show more

Looks exactly like it does here. Quality for the price is great, exactly as advertised. I will never take anything away from the advertisement/price/quality. I put it on a black Jeep, and I think it looks like a poppy/flower, whereas i thought it would look more mechanical when on the vehicle. I will add more red near it that may help. ... show more

    • Cover is not as represented.
Everyone who has said this is a no Brainerd to install is lying. The quality assurance at time of manufacture is total crap. The opening where the crimped threaded antenna stub comes through the fender antenna cover from rug ridge, is too small. I had to use a rat tail file to make a groove so the threaded stub would allow cover to clear back of the opening. The Allen head cap screws are way too long! The cup of the cover is too short and the stub hits the end. Lastly, the back of cover does not push against the stub to fender plate, so the antenna is now loose. Be prepared to use packing washers of 5/32 to take up slack and push the antenna hard against fender. ... show more

Just writing this review for that idiot who says everybody's lying and it's not easy to install. Instead of going the extra mile trying to file or saw this product to make it fit, think a little. The bolt that holds the antenna needs to be removed too, then it would be an easy install like 100s of other people said it was. ... show more

As long as you know how to take the stick antenna base off this is super simple install. A skinny flat head screw driver can be pushed through towards the side and the old one pops right off. The only thing I didn’t love was how big the opening is for the antenna to be connected. I have a rather thin antenna and you can see a large area that isn’t painted red like the base and the antenna because it was originally under the other base. Looks great, there is no adhesion as you use new bolts to lock them down. Love the look. Original mount didn't come off without a fight, ended up breaking it apart. Installing new one went on without issue. No Allen wrench provided for the new screws so you will need to find one before install. 2017 JKU Sahara ... show more

It took a little work to get the factory antenna cover off but the actual install was very easy. I did end up scraping off some of the paint when I was tightening the antenna back down :( 4 stars because the color isn’t as dark of a red as the factory red. I may paint it like another reviewer did.
