Is it a little expensive for what it is, maybe. Having said that, you have to make a profit when making low production products like this so I think the price is acceptable. It's a well made bracket with what I would call good attention to detail manufacturing practices. From the looks of it, it was likely placed in a deburring tumbler after it was stamped out which removed all the sharp edges/burs which you would expect to see after going through a punch press. It looks to be a nice thick black protective coating on it so it should hold up for a long time exposed to outdoor environmental conditions. I am a GMRS operator which easy way to think of it as a step above CB radios that needs licensing. I am putting a radio in my wifes truck and this bracket worked perfectly. Lined it up on the beds inner top lip, already had a hole there and just bolted it up. The lip on the flange kept it level and lined up. I ordered the Zitaocn 2018 Jeep Wrangler Driver Side CB Antenna Mount for our 2018 Jeep, the Bracket Kit arrived ready to paint or we could leave it black with the durable Zitaocn Powder Coat. I was hoping to mount a 18" Firestick using a SO-239 Antenna Bulkhead Connector on this Mounting Bracket, there just wasn't enough room for the SO-239 & the 50 Ohm Cable, I would think a NMO Antenna Mount might be right at home on this mount? Bracket Mounts are solid strong and well coated. Metal Mount attracts magnet weakly (good) and hardware attracts magnet hard (bad) that if coating comes off it will rust fast.. Good for mounting on a flat surface with a 90 degree bend or slot to accomodate clearance for the bracket small support Tab . Support Tab prevents bracket from swiveling as there is only one screw holding this and if bracket bolt was to get knocked loose the antenna could spin without it..
