Such a cute Rudolph game! If you know someone who loves Christmas, the classic Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer movie, and video games, you can't go wrong with this gift! It was fairly inexpensive and far surpassed my expectations! Both of my kids (in their early 20's) are Rudolph fans and I pictured them playing this after all the gifts were opened on Christmas Day and that's exactly what they are doing! This was actually better than expected. We try to get a Christmas game to play when we decorate the tree and all of that. We've gotten some generic Santa ones, last year we got the Grinch one... This one has been the best so far. It is decently playable, it looks good, and is fun. It's not going to be like Mario or Zelda level quality, but is good for a licensed game. It also allows multiple players... Another nice bonus. ... show more

I kept seeing that they had made a new game based on what is a beloved holiday classic (I've been a huge fan of Rankin-Bass since childhood) but having seen prior licensed slop based on these properties that were shovelware comprised of collections of mini games I was very surprised to see this was a full feature platformer with some mainstream gameplay mechanics like double jump, air dashing, and wall jumping along with the typical collect-a-thon fair of a lot of platformers. Its by far not the best game I've ever played but I was pleasantly surprised and found it fun though the developers seriously needed to fix the camera as you'll find yourself fighting with it constantly when you're close to any walls where it'll snap up close to you or rotate to the opposite side of you which made some precision jumps very frustrating. Theres also some very obvious slow down when a lot is going on screen but I wouldn't expect much for a title published by GameMill so it performs well enough. Its not a particularly long game if you don't try to 100% each level but when you do theres enough to do and enough challenge for kids and adults a like but its not going to have the content for hardcore gamers nor should it as they're not the target demographic for this game. What I don't think is alright about this game is the price point, it retails for $40, I was able to get it for $20 and thats what I feel its really worth so if you can get it for less then retail you couldn't go wrong. ... show more
