These are fabulous facial tweezers. you can do individual hair or all over quicky type tweezing. I bought these in 2014 and am just replacing them now. I did nothing special with them in terms of maintenance other than wipe tips with alcohol. I did NOT let anyone use them for things people will sometimes use them for such as fixing jewelry etc. I was very possessive with these and for almost 7 yrs of use they were worth every dollar. recently they seem a little dull...maybe just wear and tear or maybe someone snuck them out for a non-permitted use LOL but its been 7 YEARS so getting a new pair. ... show more

I had read many reviews and this tweezer seemed to be what I needed. I don't have to worry about facial hair, just eyebrows. I was trying to have my eyebrows fill out a little. So far they've worked wonderfully. Eventually all tweezers get dull so I am waiting to see when that happens and what I can do about it. ... show more

Not too often that you find a product that is head and shoulders better than everything else you have tried. I have wasted lots of money on less expensive pairs that perform poorly. These work great and have a lifetime warrantee. As proof to how well they work, they will suddenly stop working well after some use and even though you may not be able to see it this is because tiny flecks of sloughed skin get on the tweezing surface causing thin hairs to slip. Just wipe the faces of the tweezers with a cloth and they are back to working on even the finest hairs. Imagine, something so small that you cannot even see it wedges the blades apart! ... show more

I purchased the same tweezers about three years ago. They were amazing! I use it everyday, so it did begin to lose some grip. A few weeks ago, I ordered the very same tweezer and found that it was extremely inferior to my original tweezer. It is SMALLER, LIGHTER, and with LESS GRIP. To state it simply, It is worthless! I've bought 4 pair of these. I have one for travel, one I gave as a gift, one in my bathroom and one in another bathroom. Never drop them, keep the rubber tip protector on them and they will serve you well. They are sharp and accurate.

    • Don't bother getting these
I am very disappointed in this product. I have had tweezers from this company before that were great, but these seem to be losing their ability to grab very quickly. There are little ridges that are somehow cut into the tweezers which enable it to grab the hairs. Once these ridges are worn down it will be smooth and will not grab. If you send it in to be sharpened (which I have done in the past) they come back still smooth. I once wrote to them with a pair I sent in and explained it to them, but all they could say was that I had to have dropped them. (I did not drop them) The ridges just wore away, and they don't know how to put them back! I wish I hadn't ordered these. I can't see the big price on such a shoddy product. I was hoping to get a pair that was as good as one I once had. Didn't happen. ... show more

    • Good, but not perfect
I had always had the scissor-type tweezers that were angled and loved them. However, they were no longer working well and I searched for ages for a replacement pair. Now that my favorites are "Made in China," as I discovered when I bought a new pair, and are clearly not made well, I decided to do some research for a different kind of tweezers. I read the reviews on the Rubis tweezers and decided to give them a shot. I'm happy with them, but I wouldn't say they are foolproof. I still have a hard time tweezing certain hairs and often need several tries to succeed. I have never dropped them and am always careful to replace the plastic top when I am finished using them (based on reviews I read). I hope they last a long time and continue to be "sharp." ... show more
