Loved this keyboard. Its thin and doesn't weigh much which is good. Easily attached to your surface magnetically so you dont have to sit there and connect the keyboard manually. Loved the gray, soft to touch feeling material on the outside. Overall, there's no downsides to this product.

    • An improvement over the older keyboards
So I didn't think that there would be anything different between this new version of the Surface keyboards and the older one that I had (which had an integrated fingerprint sensor, but I was suspecting of causing system issues) but this one just seems to work better. There aren't connection issues with the Surface, the trackpad works better, and the keys feel nicer to type on. All of which is strange since the keyboards look almost identical. ... show more

I love all these products, this is the 3rd type cover I had purchased. BUT BEWARE: the title is misleading.... This is the "Microsoft Type Cover" and only work with Surface Pro 7 and earlier. This is not a "Microsoft Signature Keyboard", which is needed if you have purchased Surface Pro 8 / X / 9 / or more recent. Instead you want to look for the "Microsoft Signature Keyboard". The difference is that the signature keyboard has a hidden recess for the slim-profile pen. If you bought a Surface Pro 8 or later, this "Type cover" will not fit onto those later models. ... show more

I just got the surface pro 7 and checked Amazon for the keyboard, was much cheaper on Amazon than the big box stores. I absolutely love it!!! Just take out of the package and click it on your computer and your goof to go!!!
