Amazed with the quality of welds coming off of this thing. I'm no professional by any means but I've used Lincoln, Hobart, Miller, etc. and of course those are phenomenal machines but to get a machine at this compact size and price point that produces quality welds is unheard of. It welds like an absolute dream, producing some clean and strong beads that rival those high end brands I mentioned earlier. I was able to grab everything out of the box and get to welding within minutes. You can get quite a lot done on just 110v with this much power behind it. The LED display is super easy to read and bright. I can read it easily as far as the torch lets me get from the machine. That means I can double check my amperage with a quick glance. Rubik also includes everything needed to get you welding right out of the box. The unboxing experience really is nice. It felt like some sort of seductive experience for anyone into welding products. Seriously though, the value you get out of this thing is insane. It doesn't empty your wallet and it gets you producing strong welds that will last a lifetime? You can barely go out for dinner anymore at these kind of prices. I'm ready to put the other Rubik products to the test and see if they stack up because I am blown away that a welder in this price range can hang. I plan to get this for everyone in the family who needs a welder for odd projects or DIY at home work. Feel free to check out my unboxing video and see for yourself just how well packed this thing is. You can see the small footprint it takes on the welding cart. Yes, I know I didn't clean my material very well. I was in a hurry - but as you can see, this thing produces tig like welds with ease.

The welder is small , but it does the job! Veru easy to setup and use. At first I had an issue with the MiG wire feeder which didn't seem to work. I contacted customer care for the product and they promptly responded with the solution. Apparently I did not change the setting on the front of the machine from stick welding to flux core(MiG). Problem solved. I'm new to welding, but I think that this welder is a great addition to my arsenal of tools. It will be well used.

Have been checking this unit out. No complaints yet. I use it on my 4kw inverter and battery box for power most of the time. Functions great, the inverter is a modified sine wave unit. I can get a couple of hours operation out of it before I need to charge up the batteries. I run 4, 800 cranking amp deep cycle marine batteries. I have also used it Straight up 120 wall outlet power, However my 120 circuit is not a dedicated 20 a , it's a 15 a and you have to use it in short duty cycles to keep the breaker from popping. I have also tested this unit on my Ryobi 4kw inverter generator. 120 / 30a output, works great, again you have to be carefull in the duty cycle time, it will pop the gen breaker. But it is longer than when running off the wall power. Excellent unit. So far I have no complaints. Still have not tried it on my big generator 10kw 50 amp output. Have only tested the mig and stick. With gas so expensive it will be awhile before trying the tig function. Amp control is the only function you can control on the unit. Fine tuning of the volts and the arcforce would make this unit outstanding for use.

Took a chance one this little welder but so happy I did!!! Had a cheap harbor freight welder and never liked it but did the small jobs but was not good. This thing is tiny but has so much power. It welds so smooth and super easy to make a beginner look like he knows what he's doing. Would highly recommend!

Realmente me encontraba indeciso en comprar este producto ya que me creía incapaz de poder usarlo, y no pude estar más feliz con mi compra, es por mucho una de las mejores compras que he hecho en Amazon, vi unos cuantos tutoriales en Youtube y me animé, creía que me podría lastimar , y por el precio de UN PUNTO DE SOLDADURA que me cobraba un herrero acá me compré este pequeño y poderoso inversor, comencé soldando la jaula de viaje de mi gran perro que fué la que inició todo, ya cambié yo solo el tubo de escape de mi auto, soldé con gracia la puerta trasera de mi casa, y hasta unos herrajes de adorno que tenía arrumbados, lo unico que hice fué cambiar el micro alambre y una careta decente por uno de mejor calidad, " que salpicara menos " entendiendo que para mantener un precio asequible el alambre no fuera del todo premium, la construcción de este inversor, la potencia, la sencillez en su uso, los accesorios todo en este aparato me sorprendió gratamente.

This thing rocks! Lightweight and capable. So much better than the cheap chinese knock offs. I actually look forward to fabrication because this thing is so easy to use and produces great welds!! Pictured is my mini, homemade 48v 2k watt quad i made using the welder.
