I was very happy when this costume arrived. The dress is of good quality material. There are four holes in the front that are rather large, but I didn't mind. I am 5' 11" tall. The model in the picture must be about as tall as me because the dress comes to about the same point on my legs. I ordered a size large (I wear a size 9 in juniors). The dress is fitting, but not super tight. I probably could have gotten away with ordering a size medium, but the large will do just fine. The hat is nice, as well. It fits a little large on my head, but I'm only wearing it for one night, so it doesn't really matter. The glove is nice, also. It's plastic, but it looks cool, and it seems like it will be able to endure one night of debauchery! ... show more

The cuts are a little stretched. I'm 170lb, 5'6 and got a large. The dress has stretch too it but is still too short so I had to wear leggings to make it work appropriate. Also used safety pins to close the cuts but will probably sew for the future. Overall, super cute and comfortable. Came with a hat and the glove. Hat was big- didn't fit my boyfriend even. The costume comes with the sweater dress, hat, and Freddy glove for a great price. The brown felty-type hat is great, no complaints. The glove is honestly not good quality, but at this price most costumes are the sweater only! So, the glove can at least give you a complete costume look since it’s actually not that awful looking. I’d just recommend reinforcing it a bit before a big night out. I purchased a separate glove for my costume, but I wanted something more realistic. The sweater material and color are both perfect! I ordered the medium dress when I typically wear a small, 5’2, 119lbs only because It was cheaper and I planned on altering it. I’m glad that I did because it provided extra length since I’m cutting off the cuts at the hem. The top of the dress is a little awkward actually. The cuts sit weird, I posted a picture and you can kinda tell. I just cut along the edge of the elastic and it looks soooooo much better. I always consider price when giving my reviews so while the glove may not be good quality and I’m altering the dress a bit, I love this costume and think it’s a great deal. ... show more

Likes it others loved it but the bad thing about it is that the holes stretch super big & I had to fix it coz it started to unravel as well and it is way to short as well more like a long shirt. I got a lot of compliments on it after I fixed it my self but after Halloween i throw it in the trash. They should fix the hole part. It is comfy not scratchy like I thought it would be and it does stretch ... show more

slits were way too big and way too low on the size medium, i had seen other reviews just cut the dress to make it a sweater but instead i thought itd be cool to layer it since it was super freezing anyway. so i wore a skirt over the dress and a corset to cover up the remaining visible slits. i think it slayed and you could see the ragged edges at the bottom of the dress! the sweater kept me warm in 50-60 degree weather. if you get the medium just be weary of that aspect. glove held up for most of the night, the glove unattached from the actual claw part but i was able to just slip it back in place and it was fine. hat was too big for me so i had to line it with cloth and tape to get more grip on my head ... show more

I bought this costume almost expecting it to be too good to be true. The dress fits well, and is a REAL sweater!! Meaning that it is heavy enough to keep you warm even though it has the holes in it and is on the short side. The glove is excellent!! It takes a little practice to get used to having the long plastic "blades", however, so you might want to put it on for a little bit before going to any parties to avoid injury. My only complaint (and it isn't really much of one) is that the hat is rather big. I put it on and it falls right off, it is even a little loose on my boyfriend! That being said, some smart hair styling choices will probably help hold it on. I'm very VERY pleased with the quality of the costume! Would definitely recommend to anyone! ... show more
