I am planning on using this for a vine plant for this spring season. The parts are clearly labeled. There is a single page instruction, which is clear and self explanatory. The screws are not painted to match, but that doesn't bother me too much. (I don't think they stand out too much, so it may not matter too much even if painted) One rod had excess material on the connection side, so wouldn't fit. I used a metal file to file it down. Assembly was easy, it was easy to put together with only one person. It took maybe 30 minutes, including time to file down the one problem rod. The whole structure is light weight and can be moved around by one person to put in the location you want. You may want to secure the legs a bit if you are placing this in an area prone to wind.

My wife and I have been wanting an arch for a walkway at our house for some time but it always gets put off for one reason or another so when we saw this one we were happy to give it a try. We have a side yard we’re about to start work on in the spring so it was a perfect time to grab this and get it together. It’s a simple enough thing, if you’ve built an over the toilet shelf or something you’ve likely built something similar to this in the way it’s put together. It’s the usual aluminum poles with a screw that holds three pieces together type of thing. Took me maybe 15 minutes to put it together and most of that was just applying threadlocker to each little screw. Pretty nice that it comes with a Phillips screwdriver as well, it’s small but it’s a well built enough little tool and saved me some time getting my tools out so that’s a plus. Ended up with one extra screw which I’m sure is intended so all parts were accounted for and they were all in perfect condition. No scratches or bent pieces or anything. Had one of the screw holes that was a touch off but wasn’t bad enough to keep the screw from going through just had to wiggle it some and it went in so no biggie. I do definitely suggest locktite or some brand of threadlocker and rust is eventually going to be an issue no doubt so you might get a head start and wipe the screws down with some wd40 but that’s going to be any outdoor metal thing so it’s an expectation. The instruction booklet was easy enough to read and work out. I definitely like that it’s black, generally these are always green which is fine but I don’t want the frame to be the same color as the vines that will grow on it this summer I feel like the black will really let them pop. We also got a set of solar powered string lights to put on it just for fun. Is it as nice as a big expensive wood one? No. Is it going to last forever? No. But with some care and attention I think it’ll last several years and it looks great and for the price you can’t be too hurt if you get a few years out of it. So give this arch a try I think you’ll be as pleased with it as I am.

The seller advertisement omits some details that you may be interested to know before buying: 1) The tubing diameter is 0.5 inch. For me, that's half what I was expecting; 2) The depth of the arch is 15 inches, measured from outside the tubing pieces; 3) The distance between the horizontal pieces is 15 5/8 inches; 4) The item is very lightweight, maybe ~3 pounds total; 5) Expect it to take ~25 minutes to assemble. Most of the parts fit well, and those that didn't, didn't take too much "coaxing". In lieu of assembly instructions, the seller includes a diagram, which should be sufficient. I would add a piece of advice - assemble the top and sides separately, and only then connect them. Also, if the parts don't look lined up properly, check that you've evenly torqued down the screws; 6) The bottoms of the arch aren't suitable for either indoor or outdoor use. The bottoms are just straight-cut metal tubing ends. I was expecting some kind of spike-end for outdoor use (ie. to ram into dirt) or some end-pads for indoors use. Nada.

This arch came un-assembled. I came with easy to follow instructions for assembly. I am impressed that it is very strong and sturdy and it is large! I want this to support climbing plants but I can see that you could use this for many purposes, like balloons or for a wedding arch. I am very happy with this purchase.
