This is the most inefficient mop I have used in my 15 plus years house cleaning. Hard to use, doesn't clean well, jams in spinner, side fold up while mopping, and you can't find a replacement head anywhere. That should of been the sign

Flaps fall down so you need to constantly bend down to place flaps up to dry the mop head. When wiping the floor, the handle does not swivel so the floor needs to be swept very well or you will just push any hair or sand around on the floor.

    • Almost a very nice system - update to one star after four weeks.
The media could not be loaded. I am updating this to one star. The all-important locking mechanism is now busted - it is almost the same locked as unlocked, so when you mop the mop wants to twist and go skinny side back and forth rather than the wide side. It would have been nice if the lock worked, but since it doesn't, I can't recommend it at all. On January 6, 2020 I wrote: The main benefit of this mop is that you can spin the bottom easily to prevent drips or putting too much water down when mopping. It works well in that respect. You put the mop into one side, where it collapses and rubs against some hard plastic bits to get the grime off the mop. You then put it in the circular side, unlock the handle, and pump the handle up and down, causing the mop to spin. This removes the water from the mop. Pressing the mop against the floor causes the mop to again become flat so you can mop. This is four stars and not five because the locking mechanism doesn't work all that great. In the first cleaning step you pull up and down on the handle of the mop with the lock on to scrub the mop against the plastic. The lock isn't strong enough and the mop will try to spin if you pull/push to hard. It seems to work better with the handle at the highest position and locked while doing this, but still not 100% great. You unlock to spin the mop head, which does work well. Almost all of the water is caught and the mop is at a good state of dampness for mopping. Then you lock again to mop because you don't want the back and forth mopping motion to spin the head of the mop. This only works well if the handle is locked at it's lowest position. So mop when locked in this position and don't push/pull too vigorously and you'll be OK. You may need to relock the handle in the high position when you begin cleaning. One small design flaw is the plastic "bridge" separating the round from the rectangular section. It is domed so any drips when transferring the mop roll off to the sides and onto the floor. It should be curved the other way or have channels to direct the water into the bucket. Once you get used to it, it is handy and a neat mechanism to mop more efficiently. My floors dry faster and the mop does seem to be fairly clean after the scrubbing process. ... show more
