I love this mop and set up. The clean water is separate from the dirty water, the ringing out the water is controlled by you, the mop head is durable and gets the job done. I have recommended this mop to so many friends and they love it also. Makes it easy and even a little leg exercise.

Will this make mopping fun? No. Will it make it easier? Yes, a little, because of how the mop is rinsed and wrung out, and how easy it is to refill the bucket. Will it get your floors cleaner than a regular mop. Yes, a little, because of how it separates the clean and dirty water. It works great for how its intended - regular light cleaning of floors. Everything is plastic so it won't hold up to abuse. As long as you are using it as intended, it will be fine. If you are trying to stomp on the pedal as hard has you can to see how fast it will spin, you will probably break it, and that will be your fault. I'm very happy I finally decided to buy this. The media could not be loaded. While there have been reviews regarding the length of the stick, it works just fine for me at 5'4.5" lol. While the mop itself is a bit smaller than what I'm used to, it still works as I need it and holds a good amount of water. Being able to separate the water is great, and choosing how saturated I wanted the mop without getting my hands wet is pretty nice, which is why I purchased it. This makes mopping our floors so much easier. We have 2 dogs and they track mud in from outside when its wet out. This helps with keeping the floors cleaned.

For those that want the squeaky clean feel this mop set up is for you. I've used swifter in the past but I would have to change the padding 2-3 times to get all the dirt out. With this 2 system no wringing no pouring in new fresh water. You do have wash the microfiber mop head frequently esp in a big house or else starts to smell Yes you still have to dump the dirty water when all done -but its satisfying. My main critic is that the length of the mop is way to short I'm avg height US 5'6' it s needs another 6-12in in to feel comfortable. Second I saw it cheaper at home depot ( go figure) so please compare ( but way to easy to order with prime) I highly recommend this product ... show more

I love this mop! Our house has primarily hardwood floors and it used to take me over 45minutes and endless disposable mopping pads to clean our floors. With the O-Cedar mopping, the time is cut in half and I love that I can wash and re-use the mop head.

The mop was very cheap. The head did not stay on right and if not extremely careful could scratch floors and walls. That wasn't the deal breaker for me though as before purchasing I had intended on possibly buying a seperate mop to go with the bucket. I bought this for the water reservoir loving the idea of the mop head and water staying cleaner throughout use. Unfortunately with having little ones the design did not work for us. Having curious boys, we have ended up with lots of small items getting stuck inside the water reservoir. The only way to get them out is through the small opening used to fill the water reservoir. Hot Wheel style cars are the perfect size for getting completely wedged inbetween the walls of the reservoir with little to no hope of getting them out. I would only recommend this water bucket system as is to someone with older kids or no kids. I would definitely recommend buying a different mop to use. If the company could fix the issues of limited access into the water reservoir and a better quality mop to go with it it would be a great product. ... show more

I just tried this out after using one of the original Ocedar mop buckets. I can say that it works as well or better as the old one but you're not having to use dirty water. We have a dog that isn't house trained yet and not using the dirty water is a good thing. For some of the complaints I've seen. > The mop handle is too short.: The mop handle has 2 sections to extend. If you are complaining about being 5' 4 and its too short then you don't have both extended. I'm 5'10 and with both extended it is just fine. Read the manual. > Having to open and close the valve each time: You can leave it open. As long as the blue cap is in place, the water will flow in to the right level and stop. > Can't get the mop dry enough. To much water left in the mop: Spin the mop more and faster. Simple. > No manual. If you get the plain box, there is a printed manual. If you get the fancy box, it's on the bottom of the box. (Dumb, I know.) I do wish the mop was bit bigger and the reservoir held more water but it works well the way it is. The mop head is better than the original ones. I'd buy it again. ... show more
