I've tried many different mops/mop systems over the years and either been dissatisfied with them or had them break on me. This includes a couple different designs by O-Cedar (all of which broke), swiffers, and a very well reviewed (and expensive) wet vac by Tineco (which doesn't work quite as well as a traditional mop and is a pain to clean out between uses). Nothing has beaten this for simplicity and elegance of design, ease of use, ease of cleanup after use, reusability, and durability. It's such a simple but brilliant design. First of all, let me address the only major complaint I've seen in other reviews, which is that you're mopping with dirty water. I'm not sure what world these people have been living in, but 90% of mopping systems do not separate clean and dirty water. This is how things have been done for centuries, how it is STILL done in professional settings such as hospitals, schools, factories, etc. and it seems to work just fine. Yes, there are systems now that do it, but they are all VERY new, in the minority, and always seem overly complicated to me with too many points of failure or other issues, or they are very expensive. To hold that as a standard upon which any mop system that DOESN'T do this isn't worth consideration and gets negative reviews is quite ridiculous. I think this comes down to people "feeling" icky about it rather than it actually being an issue with getting a truly clean floor, unless you believe we never had clean floors until 2021 (earliest I could find a design that did this, as of 2025 there are a few different options out there by different companies). That said, if this is very important to you as a feature, you can simply add the wash water to the drying side and basically use the unit in reverse and it works exactly how you would expect. I don't use it that way because this is not a feature I care about, but I've tried it and it works fine that way. Now, on to the things I like. The bucket is very simple, thick molded plastic with nothing on it that seems prone to breaking. The mechanism for removing the lid is very simple to use and very secure. There are no weird crevasses that make it hard to rinse off the lid and bucket after using it. The bucket does a great job scraping off any hair or other debris from the mophead on the way out. The pads are washable and reusable and the way they fit onto the mop head is incredible secure and nothing seems like it would be prone to breaking. They even smartly put the tag on the opposite side from the hooks so that you can pull on the tag to get the pad nice and tight before pressing it down. Now that's attention to detail! The mop itself is good quality, I'm glad they opted for sections that screw into each other rather than something that collapses down (like O-Cedar mop handles) because in my experience that design always breaks, I've had several different tools from various manufacturers with that design of handle, and they've ALL broken eventually. It's not quite as convenient, but I prefer it for the durability. I like that you can get the mophead more dry by passing it through the wringer multiple times, which makes it then suitable for use on walls, tables, etc. I like to shorten the handle and use it to clean my living room table as well as a big table on my front porch. I also use it for the tile in my shower. Overall I couldn't be happier with this mop. There's not a single thing I would change and I truly don't think it could be improved upon.

The mop came in a small box. The mop is easy super to assemble by screwing all the rod pieces together; I liked how the metal mop handle pieces slide into eachother at least an inch before you reach the threads to screw together, makes me feel these joints will hold stronger and protect from getting bent. The threads are made of white plastic; dunno if this is a good or bad thing though. The top of the mop handle has a grippy squishy part of the handle for comfort and ease of use, and a nice big plastic loop good for hanging it up. One of the mop head pads already came preinstalled on the mop head, ready to go. The spare mop pads came individually wrapped inside the bucket. I was so surprised with how compact everything was. The bucket seemed small for what it was but it surprisingly held a good amount of water. It might not look like it, but there is a handle that flips up on one side that is strong enough to lift the bucket even when filled with water. Opening the bucket is easy by simply lifting from the edge of the grey part on the side opposite from where the bucket handle is. Then to put the lid back on, I found it was easier by putting the side towards the bucket handle in first (where the lid sits on the two little nubbins sticking out) then lower the rest of the lid down like a trap door.. While there are two compartments in the bucket. The bigger side where you fill with water. The smaller side is the "dry" side. I was under the impression that when you slide the mop into the dry side, it would wring the dirty water into the dry compartment, but no, a majority of that water gets dumped back into the clean water side anyway! Maybe a little bit of the dirty stuff collects in the dry side but yeah most of the durty water is floating at the top of your clean water. It was all super easy to use.. the whole process of wetting and running it through the dry hole to squeeze out excess moisture works great. I just cant help shake the feeling that I'm just mopping my floors with dirty water... At least it beats wringing it out by hand. And the dry squeegie mechanic does leave my mop head looking fairly clean. The whole action of pyshing it in amd out does roll up some of the hair it picked up, making it easy to just grab and throw in the trash. When I was done mopping, cleanup was a breeze. I was so surprised how there wasn't any splatter or built up gunk anywhere in or under the lid nor anything around the squeegie me.chanisms I just ran everything under running water and it was just that easy! Despite feeling misled about the dirty/clean water being seperated, this is still way better than a floppy dirty mop in a giant bucket. I'm so happy with the compactness of the bucket, and because of its shape, it allows me to fit it in the narrow space under my sink.

As a dog owner, I feel like I'm constantly cleaning my floors. This mop and bucket set has been a total game-changer for me. I'll admit, it was a little awkward at first. Figuring out the movement of the mop head and how to properly place the cleaning cloth on the surface took a bit of practice. The first couple of times felt a bit clumsy. However, after using it a few times, it became second nature. Now, it's so easy and fast to use, and it does a fantastic job cleaning up paw prints and whatever else my dog tracks in. The wringing mechanism in the bucket is fantastic and keeps my hands dry. This system has genuinely made my cleaning routine so much easier. It's a lifesaver, and I highly recommend it to any pet owner!
