We had taller trash cans in the kitchen trash drawer, but switched to smaller ones so we can use smaller bags and remove the trash daily. (We don't fill the taller bins daily, unless we have company.) Plastics do absorb odor and I expect that in time, these will too. For that reason, I took points off of "easy to clean." If I could find affordably-priced stainless steel cans in this size, I'd give them a shot, but for now, we're happy with these and hope they will last a while. ... show more
