Rubber Mounted 3.1 Gallon King Tank. Fits Harley Sportster models from 1995-2003. Can also be used on custom chopper and bobber projects. Uses Screw in style gas cap and 13/16" petcock. Unlike other brands, These King Tanks come with all the necessary mounting hardware for your bike. No need to purchase rubber grommets and bolts separately.Even though these tanks are pressure tested from the factory. We recommend sealing any custom tank with POR15 (Part 105-0169) or Kreem Tank Sealer (Part 105-0002) before painting. It is cheap insurance and we use it on every bike that we build. Also assure there is no stress on the tank our mounting hardware when tank is mounted.

Like another review here, it was designed slightly off so that it wont bolt under the seat. Gonna have to make some modifications to make it work. Also, the gas cap is noticeably off center, to the left.

Quality is good workmanship fair however slightly different than the factory tank does not fit properly on the motorcycle had to make adjustments for where it meets the seat. Factory tank has a finished bottom edge where it meets the seat this tank does not it has an open end for where it fits over the frame and does not meet up to the seat poor construction at that point ... show more
