The first one that I received was difficult to zip and unzip. I thought that was just normal and it would wear loose over time, but then the seam began to split rather quickly after a couple of uses. The company quickly replaced the entire cooler with a brand new one that works much smoother and has had no issues after many many uses. The cooler is great and keeps items cold as well as other more expensive ones. The zipper is very difficult to use and I can see how others have had it fail. We are keeping it lubricated and hoping it lasts. The main reason I purchased this is for my husband to carry a few beverages when golfing. Unfortunately, it does not fit in the center of a golf cart where he was planning to have it. Just passing that along in case anyone else had the same idea.

Great looking bag, but the zipper is very hard to zip up! The insulation is so thick that it takes up at least an inch of the cooler leaving less room for packing. Overall though, great cooler and great for traveling!

We purchased this cooler to hold breastmilk for our first airplane trip with our baby. The cooler was slightly too large for the scanning machine at our airport (CVG) and got caught in the machine causing a slight delay. However, the bag did an excellent job at keeping the bottles cold for the entire day- left at 9am home at 7pm and bottles were still VERY cold. We are still keeping the cooler because it's a great size for car trips and going to the beach. Ordered the smaller size for easy bottle travel.

RTIC soft cooler 20 can insulated bag. These are expensive - but worth it. They work very, very well keeping shock packs frozen for over 24 hours. If you want to be sure your cooler is cooling - these are worth it. Maybe a few less dollars than the other brand - starts with a Y. I'm saving to buy larger ones too - Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). Those numbers used to fluctuate over time - up and down but I noticed that they stopped updating regularly - perhaps to phase them out. It's a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. Let me start this review off by saying I am not normally so reckless with my personal belongings, but I am the first mate of the Capri. My duty was to ensure the boat remained by the dock. My aunt took my cooler and placed it at the end of the dock, where there was a walkway. My dad, being the man that he is, decided to cut right when attempting to maneuver the trailer into the launch. He ran over my cooler full of Coors, ice packs and my Frostbuddy coozie. Not only did the cooler survive like it was nothing, but the glass bottles of beer were unscathed as well. The Frostbuddy did not survive, however, as it was taking all of the weight of the truck. All in all this is one of the most durable coolers I've owned. The only thing that could possibly crush this cooler is a semi-truck. Kudos to RTIC for designing a cooler that can withstand thousands of pounds of pressure.

I love this cooler, it is just the right size for day trips while keeping my food and drinks cold in the process. I like that it has a longer carrying strap which makes it easy to bring along for short distances.
