  • stays cool a long time
Color: Navy
I have a YETI and this cooler. This cooler keeps the ice longer and is much cheaper than that other brand. This cooler also has a very convenient water drain and it seals really good.

  • Great cooler
Great Cooler and cheaper than its more expensive counterpart, the yeti. Super sturdy and keeps ice for multiple days. This is our go to for dry camping. It is on the heavier side so my wife can’t carry it when it’s full very well but worth keeping everything cold.

  • Top-Notch Cooler for Any Adventure
Color: White
The RTIC 45 qt Hard Cooler is a must-have for any outdoor enthusiast. It keeps things icy cold for days, even in the scorching heat. The durability and build quality are impressive, and the latches seal tightly to prevent any leaks. It's spacious, easy to carry, and a true workhorse for camping, tailgating, or fishing trips. A reliable cooler that's worth every penny! Best of all, cheaper then a Yeti. ... show more

  • Great cooler, as good as Yeti and Grizzly
Color: White
Love this cooler always wanted a yeti or grizzly but I couldn't get them delivered in time for trip. We camp as a group twice a year in the Izarks on the Little Missouri River. All of my friends use yeti or grizzly so figured I'd give this a try. Worked well for my needs. I usually take 3 coolers and have refrigerator in my camper. I replaced 2 igloos with this and a 23 quart Sub-Z that is also a great cooler. I still use a 50qt Coleman for beer which I've use last 3 years. On a norm I usually go to town 20miles for at least 3 bags of ice daily. This trip I only needed 1 every other day usually to ice drinks down in Coleman. I was up there 6 nights 7 days and coolers did a great job. If you're looking for a miracle and you want to fill your cooler once and expect no melt off then find something else. With this full of ice I'd say it's good for 4-6 days but with 2 of them I did top them off or check them everyday. All I can say is in my experience went approximately 18 bags of ice for a normal week with traditional coolers to 3-5 bags just too keep in the colder side. I'm guessing a savings of around $42 for the week so it will take a few trips to pay for it self but makes it nice not to have to run in to town every day ... show more

  • Great cooler

My husband loves this cooler for his truck bed. Keeps ice for days!

  • Overall I am impressed
I read reviews that stated this cooler performed just as well, if not better than the name brand I am more familiar with, so I decided to give it a shot. I haven’t owned a comparable cooler before, so I do not have anything to base it on other than my experience with a standard, non-premium cooler. I loaded up my cooler and set out on a four day, three night trip. We bought I think 20 lbs. of ice along the way. By the time we left our campsite there was still ice in the cooler, but it was very small. Most of it was melted. I did notice there was about 2 hours where my cooler was halfway in the sun, so I did move it the day after arriving when I noticed that. All in all the cooler didn’t quite perform as well as I had hoped, but that could have partially been in part due to the short time it was in the sun I suppose. Regardless I have no complaints. It definitely performed better than the cheap options that are so readily available at Wal-Mart and such. I feel like it was worth the cost, and I am excited to use it more! ... show more

  • This is a cheaper alternative to a well-known competitive brand and its just as good if not better!
Color: Navy
The RTIC is a competitor to another brand (named after an ape-like creature) which is much more expensive, but it is built just as well if not better making the RTIC the no-brainer choice. This cooler is big, sturdy with thick walls with very high quality construction. The outside is tough and durable, the lid is solid and has a very thick seal like a refrigerator door, and the rope handles are heavy-duty and are perfect to allow one or two people to carry the cooler. I love the smart engineering, for instance it has two serious drain plugs that are different - one drains to about 3 inches from the bottom, the other drains completely. So if you're re-icing the cooler and you want to keep just a bit of the cold melted water at the bottom you can. The RTIC folks also offer a divider - THANK YOU! Instead of putting everything into just a huge box the divider can separate drinks from food, etc. It's not water tight so melted ice water from one side will make it over to the other, but its a great way to organize things AND the divider doubles as a <drum roll please> cutting board! Brilliant! ... show more

  • Defected cooler, but was replaced with a new one that I had zero issues with.
Color: White
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the new generation rtic 45 and was disappointed. Not sure if it’s a defect or just an issue with the refresh. The cooler won’t hold in air at all and won’t shut all the way. The bottle opener is in constant contact with the lid, which is causing it to imprint into the lid. I’ve owned a 65 for 3 years and the seal holds in water and air with no leaks just like my rtic 32 ultra light. I’m currently getting a replacement which is great. I only hope it was a defect. Update: received a new cooler and the seal is able to keep the water without leaking and the bottle opener isn’t in contact with the lid that constantly makes a knocking noise when closing. I’m very satisfied. Make sure to water test your gasket and any other issues that might harm the durability/longevity of the cooler. Can’t upload a second video of the new cooler, but here’s a picture of it laid face down for about 15 seconds without water leaking as it should for a $200+ cooler. ... show more
