From the Manufacturer RPM A-arms for the Traxxas Slash 4x4 are everything you’ve come to expect from RPM and more! Take a look at everything we’ve done: We eliminated the slop in the suspension system, tightening the tolerances around the hinge pins, reduced the fore and aft movement of the A-arms at both the inner hinge pin and at the axle carriers by better than 90% and improved the durability dramatically (they’re made by RPM, enough said). As a bonus, we cut 6.5 grams of weight off of each A-arm! That’s a total loss of just under one ounce of weight simply by replacing your stock A-arms with the RPM versions! We can’t forget about how much better aesthetically the RPM versions look either. RPM A-arms carry over our traditional look with our 30 degree leading and trailing edges, and huge bosses for the shocks and sway bar mounts. Additionally, you now have the option of a bit of color with either blue or black to choose from. RPM A-arms are molded in our trademark blend of incredibly durable nylons and are backed by an industry leading warranty. We proudly stand behind our products! They can sag over time (mine personally did not do this but have friends who had this happen). They seem soft, so occasionally would have my M6 axles pop out on certain hits. I still broke mine on an impact. Just my personal experience. They are good, but I was hoping for better.

I put RPM A-Arms on all of my trucks and have not had any break. Very high quality plastic that is very durable, I highly recommend spending a few more dollars and going with RPM products!

I bought 2 sets for my Traxxas Slash 4x4 platinum. (Each set is 2 arms) They feel much stronger than the stock ones for sure. I replaced both fronts in about 20 minutes. I'll save the other set as spares just in case. Amazon shipped quick!

A little secret... You can use these on a standard 2wd transmission as well! I used these with Atomik aluminum front castor/steering blocks and MIP driveshafts to create a rugged front wheel drive. They will also work with a front bulkhead if you dont mind using spacers.

I replaced all four control arms on my Slash 4X4 (Fox Racing edit) with these due to the factory ones braking. The installation could not have gone better! Perfect fit, used all original hardware and so far they are holding up great. I was thinking about going with aluminum arms but quickly realized other more expensive and harder to replace parts would brake in a hard impact. ... show more

    • So far the only thing to break them is 40MPH head on impact
So much stronger than the OEM A-arms. I have managed to break 2 of these RPM arms but that was only because I ran my RC into a wall at about 40 MPH

Great upgrade I feel better than metal to allow some give on the "slim" chance you may run into something also the warranty and customer service is outstanding
