I ordered this bag to use as my personal item when I fly on trips. It has a trolley strap on the back to attach to a rolling suitcase handle. The padded compartment fits my full-sized HP laptop although it makes the backpack quite heavy. The padded straps make carrying a load more comfortable. There is plenty of room in the main compartment for a couple of changes of clothes and toiletries. This would be a great bag for an overnight trip or to supplement your main suitcase. I like that there is a handle on both the top and side for easy lifting. I really like the connection that is included to use with your own power bank to charge up your phone or any other small device. There is a pocket in the pack for your power bank and an “outlet” on the side to plug in your phone. All in all, this is a great little bag. It might be a little “pink” for me, but the features of the bag make up for my color choice.

This backpack is honestly super well made and is really good quality with lots of pockets and space for just about anything you could think you need. The design was very clearly directed toward the idea of traveling, but there are some things that bring this down to 4 stars. The first thing is that it's kind of awkward to wear and carry around with you. The straps have an odd fit. However, that's really not what makes it lose a star, that comes from the fact that there are no side pockets for water bottles. This might not be a big deal to some, but it's definitely something that matters to me and my wife as we've had lots of different backpacks. We aren't the best at staying as hydrated as we need to but having a drink there in our side pocket for easy access makes a huge difference in how well hydrated we are throughout the day. That being said, it is still a very good backpack and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who's planning to travel or is looking for lots of space to carry things.

When I first purchased the Roysmart Travel Backpack for my daughter's inaugural solo journey, I was immediately impressed by its sturdiness and the quality of the material. To my surprise, it was even more spacious than I had anticipated. One of the standout features that my daughter raved about was the sheer volume of items she could pack into this backpack. Despite its capacity, it still effortlessly qualified as a carryon, even with the stringent requirements of budget airlines. She was thrilled to find it slid easily under her seat. Another feature she found particularly useful was the luggage handle strap on the back. If you're traveling with rolling luggage, this backpack can be conveniently attached to the handle, making transit through airports a breeze. While we didn't find any significant drawbacks, my daughter did mention a minor preference for a different color. But that's just a small quibble in the grand scheme of things. In conclusion, the Roysmart Travel Backpack is an excellent investment for those in need of a spacious yet compact carryon. The backpack did well on my trip to visit family. I love the dedicated space for multiple devices like my ipad and laptop which has a velcro strap to hold the devices down. There's generous room for the cables, plugs, etc. that are needed as well. It holds a lot but fits the overhead bin on the airplane and is easy to lift up and push into the bin or grab and pull out when you are ready to depart the plane. I love the charging "station" built in to the backpack. There is a pocket inside the main compartment to hold your power bank so it is safely stored and ready for use. The straps for the back pack are easily adjustable if that's how you want to use it. And there is another stretchy strap on the back that can be used to attach the back pack to your rolling luggage for easy carrying. I love the pink color and the fabric used. All in all, this is a quality product with lots of well-organized zippered spaces.

This is my second similar backpack bag because I love my first so much, and this one actually might be better because it has more pockets and the cross straps to compress your belongings in the main compartment. According to the measurements, it’s slightly bigger than what’s permitted on most airlines to use as a personal item, but I recently took 4 separate flights using another similar backpack with the same exact dimensions as this one (it was just made by another company), and it fit just fine under the seat on United Economy and Breeze Airways. This was even in the window seat, which provides less underseat room than the middle, and the bag was STUFFED. I think the gate attendants are less likely to say something to a backpack than a different type of underseater (every time I use my small wheeled underseater, the gate agent always says something, and I have to explain that it’ll fit underneath, even though it’s smaller than a backpack!). The trolley strap on the back is useful for putting this bag on top of your luggage handle to wheel around, which can be a lifesaver when you’re walking all over the airport with a heavy bag on your back. I just wish I picked a different color because I’m worried the light pink will get dirty easily. Highly recommend this bag for traveling!
