It took 72 hours for the mattress to puff up just as the directions which came with the product. It conforms to the back and is very comfortable. So far I am pleased. We are using it as a sofa in our den where we spend most of our time.

It is very thick and plush. I haven't slept on it yet, but to sit on it like a couch, it is very comfy. It forms to your back. Once we sit down, we don't want to get up; it's that comfy. The cover seems to be a strong material. It does have the white stitching where the mattress was tied, but it doesn't show that much. Still I would have rather had it be the same color as the fabric. It came within a reasonable time frame. You have to lay it out for a few days, as it is vacuum sealed, so it needs to expand. I am very pleased with the whole purchase.

In short; save yourself some money buy a milliard memory foam mattress. It’s cheaper, better quality, way batter looking and comes as advertised unlike this one. I ordered this in August 2023. It arrived well enough. Unpacked it, it never inflated to advertised width after days of waiting. It has wood smell and want very comfortable, it had many lumps. Returned it, it’s now January of the next year and I’m still waiting for my money to be returned to me. CONSIDER THIS A WARNING

I have slept on this mattress for almost 6 months. It never expanded to the advertised 8" height. I could feel the frame under the futon, so I added a 4" REAL memory foam mattress on top. It still bottoms out in the center of the bed. I didn't have much money to spend, so I took a chance on this one. It would probably be fine for someone younger without the aches and pains of a 65+ body. I'd have to tear the mattress apart to see if the inside has real memory foam, because it certainly didn't feel like it. That said, it wasn't expensive as futons go, so I got what I paid for.

This is not for People who need a serious amount of support or are looking for an extremely soft mattress. It is comfortable and I can sleep on it without waking up to aches and pains the next day. It’s a great option for guests or a few nights. I think it does the job. I would buy it again.
