The picture on the site showed several layers of foam with a minimum of packing material around these foam layers. The actual futon cushion had only one layer of foam with lots of stuffing, packing material making up the majority. Misleading.

For this products price I expected it to be a bit comfier. It gets the job done but there isn't a lot of cushion. I recommend shopping around for something else.

What I dislike about this was, it wasn't 6 inches at all. Maybe about 21/2 inches the most.. But overall for the money it is a keeper. Because there is no other way to find anything that can work....Thank you for time.... for what's worth...

Fresh out of the box, I began sneezing. I noticed a couple of dark spots on the zippered cover and a muggy smell. My initial thoughts were that the material was thin and some of the filling was showing through. As far as the smell...well...it's been sitting in some warehouse. I figured that the smell would go away after a day or two. I began to remove the cover to attempt to wash it when I noticed buds...cotton buds...plenty of cotton buds. Ok, this may explain the smell or just the material of the covering itself. My only thought was that I was NOT about to have this MESS all over my floor to wash this cover. THEN have to fight to put the cover back on with this seemingly unprocessed cotton. The material of the cover is pretty thick so the spots were not from the filling showing through. I'm not sure as to WHAT the dark spots are, but I covered it to test its comfort. The mattress is comfortable and more comfortable if you fold it like a taco or double the mattress (I had to experiment lol)! Unfortunately, my household deals with Allergies and this mattress cannot stay. The mattress has been unboxed for about a week and it still smells. As much as I want to really dig through this cotton to at least touch the memory foam...it's not worth the mess. I also placed this mattress on an iron frame and that's a "No". The mattress is better on the floor. This mattress is a "YES" for those who can tolerate what I cannot. ... show more

If you’re buying this mattress you’re wanting to save a few bucks because it’s not the most expensive one out there. It’s decent and will do the job fairly comfortable. Definitely has an odor about it that will probably take a little while to wear off. Had it on on the floor and my wife slept on it right away so that’s a good sign. Product is comfortable thick and exactly the size requested. Packaging could be more environmentally friendly but given the size of the mattress a little plastic for a smaller box could be the best they could do. I had a small issue with the mattress, it ended up getting delivered to the wrong place (thanks fed ex) I contacted the seller and within 24 hours they were ready to send a replacement for no additional cost. Luckily the person who received my package delivered it to me and I didn't have to go looking but still very professional of the seller to offer to send out a replacement so quickly (it would have been shipped Monday and today is Sunday) Overall 2 people in my family now have this mattress and are all very happy with the product.
