Looks good. The shorts are roomy and that surprised me. I'm usually an 8 and ordered a 10. The 10 fits. I'm 5 ft 7 in, 143 lbs and on the curvy side. I expect this to be my go to this summer.

More pockets (such as front pockets) would be VERY useful. The Royal Robbin discovery skort is very comfortable, it is the most comfortable I have worn, much more comfortable than the Scott Vest brand. However, it has no front pockets. My older versions have one back pocket, my newer versions have 2 back pockets. The fabric lays well and looks nice enough to wear to work (where the dress code is business casual). I suspect the older versions are lighter weight (but it could be that my older one's were bought used, and may just be more worn). My older versions are slightly more comfortable than my new one. Sizing has not been consistent over the years. I have an older version size 12, that is slightly big, but the newer version size 10 is too small, while the newer version size 12 almost fits (very slightly tight, but ok). I have another older version size 12 that is a perfect fit. ... show more

Zipper is in the back so it is inconvenient to zip up. Runs small. No give in waist so make sure you have enough room in the waist for sitting and zipping up the skirt. I usually wear size 12/large but this item in size 12 didn’t fit. Too small.

I have several of these. This newer version has improved shorts and slightly larger back pockets that better fit my phone. Length is perfect, just above knee. Fabric is nicer than other brands of skorts I have, it is more like a regular skirt fabric as opposed to an athletic fabric. Resists wrinkles.
